Hope everyone is enjoying their evening! Tonight I am listening to Roger Alan Wade. The first song I wanna share is Stoned Traveler.

I decided that steeping my glycerine and cannabis under some heat would be the best way to go about making a tincture. So I poked around The City and found a few threads about using the same process. Any way I took a 8oz mason jar put in about 14g of of dry hand crumbled low quality buds. I had to put in the glycerine slowly as it did not want to absorb into the herb. Any way once it was full I had about 1/2" of head space in my jar. I let it sit at room temperature for a couple of hours to let the herb get saturated giving it several vigorous shakes just to make sure. I put the mason jar in a crock pot filled with water to make a hot water bath. The crock pot I am using only plugs in to turn on it has no control but it heats to 180*f, the same temp as setting one on warm. After the first hour I took out the jar and tightened the lid, I figure its not gonna expand too much more from heat and mason jars are made to handle a little heat and pressure. I have shaken it up about once an hour and have not had any issues so far. Oh I also added about 1/8 teaspoon of soy lecithin to help break it down, great for edibles or topicals but do not use soy lecithin if you plan on smoking or vaping or otherwise inhailing. I got the idea from BadKittySmiles but she uses it in her hash tincture so I don't really know how it will act with herb. It is not done yet so I will update tomorrow or Saturday. I just turned off the heat after 8 hours and left the jar in the crock pot to cool off slowly. I will strain it through some tea bag cloth in the morning. Here are a couple of more from Roger Alan Wade to lead us out.

I am not 100% sure on the name of this next one I think it is Cars And Guns but youtube says its Obe Bourbon One Scotch One Beer but it ain't. On second thought I am gonna go find One Bourbon One Scotch One Beer by George Thurgood and The Destroyers. But first the second song of the first artist.

And now Mr Thurgood... Turn it up and roll down the windows! We gonna hit the back roads smoking a fat doob of some fine chibba... at least that is what I like to do while listening to this one. Oh and Black Betty by Ram Jam... ok I'll dig that one up too.. Any other requests?

So listening to this song reminds me of when I went and seen George and the Destroyers at a local show and man they were AMAZING! Ted Nugent was a couple weeks later at the same place and man that show rocked!

    Here is Black Betty.

If I come up with some more good ones I will be back. Hope y'all don't mind, this isn't much of a grow journal any more but I sure like sharing with all my friends.

    Peace

The glycerine tincture I made is AMAZING! I rubbed it on a knee that got hyper-extended and rotated out of place that has been hurting for weeks. For about 8 hours after rubbing it on I felt ZERO pain. Even when I felt me knee pop it didn't hurt. I haven't taken any orally yet but I am sure it will be great.

Last night I smoked about 5pm before chores then again at 8:30pm and finished the bowl about 9:30pm. I took what was left over from my glycerine extraction and put it in a hot hot bath with some Epsom salts. By the time I was done in the bath tub I was having visual anomalies when I closed my eyes and also physical sensations of melting, floating, and being rocked. When I had my eyes open anything white would turn shades of yellow. It was a great stone that I won't soon forget. I didn't even smoke any of my hash.

Love the grow man! Thanks for inviting me over to your room. You guys are making my green thumb itchy!

I was hauling water based drilling mud and disposing of it. I felt fairly safe working with the material. Heck in the 5 years we did that I ate and drank more drilling fluids than food and water :) I started out washing the insides of dirty trucks and ended up being partners in the company. It ended all very shittily. We got dumped by our customer and didn't follow our exit strategy so instead of being debt free with a little money I'm struggling but surviving. The partnership fell apart and made for some uncomfortable family time with my partners but it's all good now. We still work together but now everything is separated for the most part. We go in half and half and half of anything that comes out comes backs me immediately. Man you would have freaked seeing us disposing of the drilling fluids. We would find land owners and pay them to spread the waste on their land and then till it under. Before I was in charge of the landforms some were not turned under very well so we had to go back and fix them but once we got a good system down the places looked great when we were done. Heck my house is built on top on a place we did, unfortunately it was one of the places that didn't get done properly and since my own place wasn't a priority we never turned it under again. My house foundation is rock solid but my yard turns to black mud in the rain. We are working on getting more grass to grow. Been here for a little over a year and I still don't feel settled in yet.

    Peace
