Either will do just fine as long as you get one that is fast enough to handle the task at hand. Both are great processor companies. Also yes, there are other processor companies but Intel and AMD are the two largest that design x86 cpus that are used in most computers. Devices like Chromebooks, Tablets, Phones, and starting soon any apple product use ARM processors. Even less common are RISC cpus.
Even years later I still shop the AMD, to take advantage of the MME extra junk on the motherboard,(Gamers- multi media experience) Intel have tried but failed ..but did make up for their fuckup by adding more grunt to their chips, but you still get the cursed intl 'bottle neck try Red Dead Redemption? cheers
I'm still rocking an FX 8350. Had a friend give me an Intel board but need to get a better CPU for it. The Nvidia 3080 is looking pretty legit
