Brainstorm G13 and Killa Watt strain's CFL and HPS grow

So the end has come to the Eidelweiss strain, time to move on to pastures new.

For those who dont know the setup i use already then check out the links below for past grows. This time around the main babes shall be :-

So far all three seeds have taken and are doing fine although a little streched from not enough light for the first week. Some pics can be seen of them on my last journal above.

The Critical + shall be grown through to maturity as a one off to compare yeild and quality for future grows and the other two shall be cloned for about 5 harvests to get a good feel for how they like things and again to compare yeilds and quality.

Any questions are welcome and shall be answered as soon as possible but bare with me as i work away a lot and weekends are pure hectic in this house

 

Cheers EazyGreen will keep you posted on their progress. Just about to move over the last of the Eidelweiss to the flower room so the new ones can have some decent veg time.

Ok so thats the room all sorted for another five to six weeks. The mommas have been replaced with the new seedlings and the finalof the Eidelweiss strain have been moved over as well. If all goes well should be seeing some of the new strains going into flower about end of January to Febuary. Shall keep posted with pics etc as they go along.

 

Here are the latest pics of the new borns. Started from seed on the 16th Nov so just under four weeks old now. The front one of the two is the Killa Watt and the other is the Brainstorm Haze x G13.

 

Latest enviroment stats for both rooms. Have just added a new air pump, one big but quiet mother of a pump with four outlets, should give plenty of oxygen to the nutes in all three tanks in the flower room.

Will post some pics of the new seedlings later when i get a chance but so far so good, have increased the nutes for the new momma seedlings to 1200ppm as they are showing signs of nute def so will give it a few days and see how they pick up or dont!!

 

Latest pics of the new seedlings that were started on the 16-11-2008. These are to be the next mommas for clone taking from. Also a few pics of the flower room with the next batch of 8 Eidelweiss that are about 3 weeks from finishing flowering.

Cheer's bro the whole room veg and flower is controled by a stand alone BMS controler that is hooked up to my PC, the type of controlers used for the HVAC trade. Running a fully closed grow room with intake and extract fans scrubbing the air flow and work away from home a lot so need the room to be as automatic as possible and also to be able to view and alter settings from over the web is a real bonus.

 

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND A HAZEY NEW YEAR

 

Ok just a quick update on how the Killa Watt and Brainstorm x G13 are getting on.

From seed they are 6 weeks old now, another week or two and then its time to start to cut them back for the clones. Shall be taking four cuttings from each plant to start with and will veg them for about 3-4 weeks before moving them over to the flower room stage 1.

Nutrient level has been taken up to 1300ppm as they are both hungry little suckers and were still showing signs of lack of nutrients at 1200ppm after raising it from 900ppm two weeks ago. PH is steady at 5.9 but will haave to keep an eye on them for the next week as have had to move them into a new smaller tank system to gain a little more height in the veg room, the Brainstorm is really getting quite tall now.

Shall post some more pics in about a week or when i take the clone cuttings from them.

 

Here are some pics of the flower room at the moment. Its a bit crowded at the moment but shall be cutting the 8 larger plants in about another week or two. Shall start to flush the system in another three days time.

 

Cheer's Budslinger, like i said shall be taking some clone cuttings real soon from the two new momma plants shown in the previous pics. The ones in the flower room at the moment are the penultimate crop of Eidelweiss strain. Have had some fairly good results with the Eidelweiss, but now its time to move on to new strains.

Have also included some pics showing the enviroment controls for the room for those who havent already seen. Have still got to reprogram the controler to control the input fan and main extract a bit better as with the outside temp droping so low the room is going down to 15 DegC sometimes, far too cold for the babes and i dont want to use additional heating when the lights produce enough heat for the room.

 

Timers work just as sweet myles, especially looking at your grow lol.

Me i am just a lazy busy gardener who works in the air con trade so it was easier for me to automate the whole process for when i have to work away, which is quite often.
Still trying to increase the final yields of each harvest though, thats why the change in strains.
