  13. Degree in agriculture from any state run university (i.e. Clemson university, Texas a&m, university of Georgia, Iowa state, etc.). Ideally you’ll want experience in the industry too but the degree is what will get you in the running for the top jobs. The degree is just a piece of paper so you’ll actually have to know your stuff but if you can get into the schools I mentioned and graduate you’ve already got a lot on the ball to make it that far.

Also just because you couldn’t get into those schools out of high school doesn’t mean you can’t get in. In fact the easiest way to get into one of those schools is as a transfer student. My son graduated this year with a math degree from a top state school. He applied but was denied (the entry requirements as a rising freshman to these schools is ridiculous: 4.0 gpa, crazy high SAT score). So he went to a local college for a year and then transferred to the good school with a 3.0 gpa.

  14. Every state has what’s called a Land Grant University. All of those university’s (typically they’re the ones who run the states extension office) are going to have different agriculture and horticulture degrees. Not to say you can’t go to a university that isn’t a land grant university and get an agriculture degree (I did) but those are generally going to be your more “prestigious” agriculture colleges.

  15. Ya my next door neighbor and his father went to that college .
He can roll one hell of a joint .
But for a education in horticulture He is the last person i would ask for advise....
That college got raided ,,, and was shut down ..
I don't if its opened back up or not ?

I rather take college horticulture class which is a 4 credit class and requires a lab . .

  16. i'm a high school dropped out
Plus english is not my first language
i will settle for auditing as my education for now

  17. My education will be in the auditing direction
i've heard of University of Georgia
But UC Davis is more convenient for me to auditing
