The wheel thing that causes the spark didn’t do anything so id imagine the flint is missing or whatever causes the sparks ⚡️ I didn’t realize zippo need there own special fuel and butane won’t work ? Any cheap re filable lighters ? I had one claled djeep but lost it I saw no way to refill it so I figured it’s a throw away type of lighter . you dont need to use zippo brand lighter fluid or butane in your zippo lighter. any quality brand is fine. if the flint is gone, just replace it. its really really easy. youtube it
Does can butane Fluid work ? I have that I cannot use charcoal lighter fluid cuz that’s forbidden for fires outside or charcoal grills .
It requires "lighter fluid". Ig you grasp the top and pull down on the case you will have access to refuel it and check for a spare flint. The screw releases the old flint spring. Do not over tighten when you replace the flint.
Well no point in even using it then what’s. A cheaper refillable quality lighter ? ... I can fix it later on maybe the ziiipo Sadly I need a new bowl peice too but I’m near broke . Talk about bad luck ... maybe a cheap site.
I smoked cigs for years and always carried a zippo with me back in the 70's. After switching up to Canni, I have noticed that you can smell and taste it if you are a taste connoisseur.
I’m suprized There is no lighter forum spot , any suggestions for affordable lighters for a bowl ? Don’t really feel like trying to refill disposable bic lighters .
you are making this WAY more complicated than it needs to be. WOW I wonder how some people make it though the week
I used a Zippo so long now I love that taste/smell. I have that very same model Zippo on my desk with a bottle of fluid but since I've quit smoking cigs I have to refill the fluid every time I want to use it so I just don't use it any more. But I can't just throw it away, they're guaranteed forever ("It works or we fix it free™") and I'm trying to get my money's worth.
Did you figure out how to take it apart yet? It looks like it doesn't have a flint and I can't tell by your pictures if the wick is there. If you want to use it you should go ahead and send it in to Zippo. They'll replace the insides for free and it'll be like a brand new lighter.
