Hey all, I don't exactly want to invest in a bowl when I can probably get something metal and make one, which I did. I just wanted to know if it would be okay for using on a gravity bong and stuff. Also, what can I make a "tube" with to transport the smoke through since I cant make a hole big enough for the bowl? I was thinking a plastic straw but realized the smoke would melt it and so would the flame. I really need help with this, thanks to all who do. Pictures of the bowl:
Bro don't do it it might just end up wasting weed save up 20$ and go to a head shop and get a GOOD pipe it'll be nice and big and most importantly will work and be worth your money
Dude, i would recommend using clay actually. Make sure its non-toxic (the air-dry art clay works fine) and make a simple chillum out of it by rolling a cylinder, making a bowl shape at one end, and running a toothpick/skewer/what have you through it. Then let it dry completely, and cover the mouthpiece with tin foil or something so your saliva doesn't re-moisten the clay when you hit it. If it tastes funny at first, the inside of the chamber is probably still a little moist and needs to dry out a little longer. Once its done it will work as a chillum/gravity bong bowl/whatever. EDIT: A hunk of clay is like 8 bucks at hobby lobby or a similar store. You can make quite a few pieces out of a single block, but I would recommend just spending eight bucks on a cheap metal piece from your local cigarette store. They disassemble easily, and you can use their metal tube/bowl in gravity bongs and other DIY stuff.
because if it's not metal it'll probably leak toxins and those aren't good for you at ll and a pipe is the easiest way to get a metal bowl that WILL work
