sup fellow GC members, now i know not alot of headshops carry the official beeline, and i know alot of people love the taste it gives. with that being said i went out to michaels (an art store) and bought a pound of 100% PURE beeswax, and a roll of hemp rope (try to get it fairly thin!) what you'll need: beeswax (organic or pure!) Hemp rope (thin!) a knife you dont mind ruining (fairly sharp, butterknives dont cut it!) a lighter/torch some parchment paper (or anything really) a bowl you dont mind ruining 1. Start by heating up your knife with a lighter, 30 seconds will do. 2. start cutting chunks off your block of bees wax and putting your chunks into your bowl. 3. once completed throw that into the microwave and start cooking it, 30 second intervals works best. make sure you keep going until COMPLETELY melted (i think it took me 4 minutes total and my microwave is garbage haha) 4. careful now, the bowl AND the wax for that matter will be really hot, take it out of the microwave, and with your hemp rope (wind it up nice and tight) dunk it in the melted wax. you'll notice that the hemp rope gets darker and saturated, feel free to mix it around until its all done. 5. again with a knife or something take the hemp rope out and put it on your parchment paper, allow to cool for 30-45 seconds (be percise as you must act quickly in the following step) 6. using your fingers, run the hemp rope through them pressing and you'll see the wax start to come off (this is good). 7. once all done let it sit for another 30 seconds and you're golden. feel free to wrap your new beeline around a card or a lighter, or just roll it all up into a big ball (depends how much you do ofcourse!) ill be putting up pictures tomorrow when i make a fresh batch! cheers
I just added up all the ingredients. It's cheaper to get a 200 foot roll of beeline for 15 bux. That would last forever.
