Bought a decent bong £180 hurricane used it for a while time to comes to clean a have used everything It comes up brand new That’s not the issue it’s as soon as I use it there’s this white powdery like substance that’s above the water line goes high up runs down like salt but there’s no salt in a used oxi vanish gold so shouldn’t be any salt involved, Smells bad, makes my belly go abit weird also feels like somethings at the back of my throat, doesn’t get me as high as usual because am Wondering Why it’s like this a had the same bong for 7-8 years cleaned it all the time no issues but it’s happened to that also my new bong and also my newer £35 bong I have no idea what the issue is used vinigar, lemon, baking soda, bottled water everything? Sometimes tastes ok but it just makes my bong rotten after one use all show a picture
How would you get rid of the calcium? Tried soaking it with vinegar overnight still comes up when i Smoke
that's just hard water, it happens to all my bongs. it wont harm you. what i do to get rid of it is, use some dish washer soap. i usually use like finish power balls. but apart from looking ugly it shouldn't effect anything to much.
Looks like calcium/lime to me from hard water. It's not the residue causing the bad taste, it's the stuff in the water that's leaving the residue that's causing the bad taste. Try distilled water, shouldn't leave a residue or have any taste. To clean it off I'd either use alcohol with coarse salt, or faucet/tub/lime cleaner like someone above mentioned. The tub cleaner is strong stuff though, rinse extra times.
