When is South going to legalized it?

  1. I live in the South. My State is known for its crooked politicians. I don't understand why they have not seen all the money coming into to States where it is legal. They legalized gambling without any concerns for the negative aspects of gambling. I have found very few if any negative aspects of the legalization of weed. And it would keep people from going to jail and allow police to fight real crimes.

  2. It's gonna be a while for us, it seems. Police would rather grab a bud smoker than a real criminal.

  3. There’s a lot of talk around here but I think it’s more of everyone wants it legal except the politicians

  4. Thanks for your responses. In my State I don't understand why the greedy politicians don't want all the tax dollars. And my State is always at the lowest rating in most everything except for STD's. There we rate very high.

  6. As long as republicans rule the roost in the southern states........it will never happen.
They care more about voter suppression than legalization of weed.

  8. I'm sure within a few years at least one or two will. It took the (north) east coast years but after the first state does, more eventually follow.

At the rate Californians and Mexicans are relocating to Austin, my guess is 2024 for Texas.

  10. I would rather wait until we can get a quick way to keep weed impaired drivers off the road. Like alcohol a breath test that can differentiate between just smoking and smoking 8 hours ago.

All we need to add is the OG Kush nod to the retards staring at their phones. Lol, but I am going to invest in a super quick drive thru system that reduces line size significantly.

  11. I’m in the south too and I think we have a long struggle ahead. There is a ray of light with Mississippi voting in medical. Maybe VA gets rec and the tourists flocking there will encourage other states?

  13. That's fine disagree my post if reality is too much for you to handle. South fucking Dakota voted to legalize, the country at large supports it, but nope places like North Carolina totally won't in a few years. And also my point regarding one state in an area doing it then others following isn't an opinion, it's a fact.

  14. I'm not trying to upset you my friend. In fact I hope you're right. Living in the Kentucky it is a dead issue. The Kentucky house has voted for medical weed. The state senate wouldn't even vote on it. That was last year. The house has no plans to vote on again. So it's as dead as you can get. here's a fact in the South. 95% of the people want Medical weed. Yet they will vote in a landslide for the people who are against it. I not saying it will never pass but it will take many years. Long after I go to that great bong in the sky.

  15. I'm in Tennessee, pretty much the same thing. I would even settle for decriminalization, tired of risking jail every time I pick up a quarter. It's insane, I tell you.

  16. Ok well that's actually pretty in line with what I was saying. It's not crazy to think that in a few years one of the less "cousin fucking" type states will give way. That's when other states start to loosen up, and yes it will take years but eventually more states go until they do too. Not saying it will be quick. Unfortunately when it comes to politicians weed is still pretty partisan even though to we the people it's (especially among younger people) pretty bipartisan now.

  17. I don’t flatly disagree, in fact I indicated otherwise with the like button. I just think we can’t discount just how stupidly stubborn these southern politicians, and so called “conservatives”, can be. Your theory has been shown true with the lottery and a new casino being built 40 minutes from me near Charlotte NC. I’m hoping that when VA goes legal, the Carolinas beaches see a loss and wake up. It takes that kind of reality to show people.

  18. Just talk to these people who watch Fox news in the South and you'll see this issue is dead. Kentucky is a red state and getting farther to the right everyday. Dobro49 I could not agree more when you call them so call Conservatives. The fact is they want bigger Government who all up in your life telling you how to live you life. That is not what true Republicans are about. Fox news has talk them into this. I lived is South Korea under Park chung hee. When he was in charge the people had no freedom at all. It made me love American even more. When me and my wife return from Oregon to Kentucky it was like I was back in South Korea. No freedom no rights no nothing. 95% of people here want medical weed. The people have no voice no right to vote on the issue. that is NOT freedom.

  19. The false left-right paradigm is designed to be divisive. There's tons of people who actually support small government and limited control but few politicians who do what people want.

  20. There is no Democratic party not a real one. Where is FDR, Truman, on JFK?. Instead we have Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. Both parties don't give a fuck about you are me. The States do have true Democrats. Like Oregon and Washington who do listen to the people. That my friend is true freedom.
