WHAT CONCENTRATIONS ARE USED FOR BOTTLED NUTRIENTS?.

  1. Take Foxfarm big bloom for instance, it has bat guano in it.

I`m interested to know how bottled nutrients concentrations are figured out, so they can give a dosage as a guide.

So if you wanted to mimic the foxfarm big bloom bat guano concentration, how much would be required?.

Normally 1tsp to 1Tps per litre of water is the dose for adding just bat guano to soil.

So how much bat guano would they put in a 1 L bottle to recommend a 1-2 Tsp per gallon dosage?.

    If its 2 Tsp (20ml) per gallon (4L), that`s 5ml per litre (a teaspoon).

So are they concentrating a 1L bottle based on a gallon ratio?. Do they put 2Tsp of guano in a 1L bottle?, i dont get it.

Basically how do concentrations work to give dosages.

I`m referring specifically to bat guano to keep it simple.

  2. Save a Bat. Use Composted Chicken manure.
The plants don't care where the nutrients come from.

  3. Bat guano creates unbelievable taste, the best fertilizer in my opinion.

  4. The TLO tea recipes call for 1/4 cup of "barnyard manure" per gallon. You dilute with a gallon of water after it has bubbled for 24 hours. If you plan on using in your soil then I agree with BNW.

  5. I dont think you understood my post.

Its about how nutrients are manufactured.

  6. Well I may be off topic. But bottles are on their way out. I am making my own soil with 4 ingredients. Its no till now unless I want to add tea or flavor enhancers. So I am watering less and not feeding everyday. Win.
