  2. Authentic or not, who cares, it looks awesome.

I'd hit that again and again and again and again........................

Un necessary gadgetry has never impressed me, unless its part of a bong, in which case - more the merrier.

  3. Hate to clean it. I like straight bongs with no ice holders inside. Easy to run a brush in there

  4. Never heard of that manufacturer, but I'm sure it's not a fake (for that same reason).

None the less, make sure you regularly clean those tree percs cus they can be a bitch once they're dirty.

  5. A babies milk bottle brush works perfect for getting in past the ice catcher and also the top portion of the tube. Degreaser with 91% iso and coarse kosher salt works well. It does take time but it’s not a big deal to keep a $275 investment looking new. It’s insane how fast I go through a bottle of iso. Good thing it’s cheap. Yeah gotta stay on top of cleaning. I use a turbine perc ash catcher to keep ash and anything nasty from getting into the tree percs or tube. Does anyone know if reclaim accessories keep the resin from building up inside of the bong? Is there any way to keep from having to ever having to clean a bong? Like a forever clean bong method?

  6. Yeah, I buy iso in like a six pack from Amazon more often than I care to admit

  7. Smart. Amazon is always the cheapest for almost everything and has great shipping speeds with prime. Anyone have experience using Rez block? Does the stuff actually work or is it just another gimmick?

  8. I've heard it works. Never tried it myself though, I never remember to buy some when I'm at the shop

  9. If they're going to fake it, it would need to be a recognized brand. Probably just cheap Chinese glass they slapped a design on. Pretty common. I've seen identical glass with different manufacturers design on them, that's how China operates. Who cares though, as long as you're happy that's all that matters. I had a bong one time identical to a friends of mine, both had different manufacturer markings.

Yeah wholesale designs, and sellers can 'differentiate' themselves with a logo or brand name. If it was a Toro or an SG or something, then I'd say an Auth check is in order, but if it's not a brand that will warrant people spending at a premium, there likely is no need for counterfeits...

That being said, more important than the label stuck on the tube is the glass quality and function. If you happy with both of those, OP then you're in good shape!

  11. I take my pipe and heat it in microwave to get resin to drain out! Do outside if live in legal state

  12. $600!!!. I'll take the cheapie chinese stuff anyday.

  13. Haha, I didnt pay that. I talked him down for the holiday and sold an old piece for more than half the price. It ended up being pretty affordable.

(that's the good thing about some of the pricier pieces/brands though, they keep their value and can be resold)

  14. Nice piece! Yeah not sure about mine. I’m asking because the brand rehab is fairly new to the water pipe game. They are based out of Cali alongside roor and other great brand names. Is there any way to tell good quality glass from low quality glass?

  15. Eh, I feel like it's just one of those things...
You can kind of tell when you have the piece in hand.

Usually China glass will have shitty joints, poor fittings with cheap "frosting" or sandblasting where your bowl would fit.

Check for consistency in perc design - off center, tilted etc.

From what I can see the piece you have looks to be Boro but it's hard to tell thru pics

  16. It’s definitely Boro. So that’s good! For me it comes down to how it feels in my hand and obviously how it hits. Quality I like 5 mil glass and I always check the joints and perks. Are the joints double welded? And do the perks look like they were purchased in a box by the 100’s and then the glass blower just added them to his work? Or did the artist work all the glass himself. It’s not like when I was younger and you had to worry about cheap Chinese knock offs. Now the glass artists have to worry because those knock offs aren’t shitty quality anymore. China upped there game and sells chunky ass pieces that are extremely inexpensive. I bet the majority of glass you see even at some of the best shops is from China. Regardless hit that thing till it hits back!!
