Main hose is black in color an it was just cleaned hits like a champ. will never here me complain. from the hits off it. last night was my first hit from an apogee III in proly 20 years and its the same as i remember. Have a Toke and a Smile.
love seeing the Large Apogee, I had one back in the day. Bought it in the Hare Chrishna shop in Pittsburgh in 1985. I remember you pulled the smoke into the chamber as you leaned it forward and then you leaned it back and the water pressure pushed the smoke up. Wish I never got rid of it. Gotta love the Tokemaster for the best hit though.

This is an original I bought back around '82. I lost the original wooden slide-bowl, so I took the wooden sleeve of an old metal hand pipe and hooked it up so it would take the slide of my other bong (Still have the metal slide. No idea where the bong went.). The bong was kept as a relic from the past and spent most of the time in my basement. Recently I realized that I could use glass slides on this bong. I bought some Formula 420 for acrylics, scrubbed years of crud out of the bong, and put a glass slide on it. Taking rips off a bong I've had since highschool is priceless!
