I have a TAG inline w reverse showerhead and I wanna test it w a downstem cause there’s enough water for it to function

When you hit it, the water level in the chamber below the joint will drop allowing airflow so the inline functions. I’m trying to get a downstem that will function In that chamber before it goes though the inline perc
why? you've got a horizontal diffuser with like 100 holes in it and the perc with like another 30 holes in it for diffusion? what exactly is a stem in a stemless bong going to do?
