Trikky's Glass, Bud, and BHO Continuum *Updated Often*

Discussion in 'DIY and Homemade' started by trikky, Feb 8, 2009.

  1. The BHO looks amazing.

    Makes me drool.

Wondering how's it taste? Does it taste like the bud would if you would just smoke it?

  2. It's so hard to describe the taste of BHO. It's NOTHING like any other hash...

When BURNED (like with an open flame), the SMOKE tasted reminiscent of the weed it was made from.

When VAPED (like with an oil dome and nail set), it's like a VERY strong vaped weed taste, but different at the same time...

Probably best to just make some and try it for yourself!

  3. OK, up next is my bubbler.

It's a Mike Fro '07 Bubbler. It features blue, black, yellow, red, and green colors. It's got 6 worked sections, including a worked snorkel carb. The part of this bubbler that is most unusual is the honeycomb airtrap marble on the back of it. This is not a typical style for Mike to use, which is what made it catch my eye. If you look closely at the disc right below the mouthpiece on the picture shot of from the back side of the bubbler, you'll notice Mike included a small, circular window so you can see through the back side of the disc to the color worked section on the other side. It adds nothing to functionality, it's just a cool little aestetic addition.

Anyways, here's some pictures for you all-

  4. Very nice bubbler, i like the colors. Everything else is great too dude.

  5. sweet fro bub trikky, the worked sections really pop against the black.

  6. Nice pics, and all, but the only distinctive part of the bub is the glass button on back. I prefer to see more color changing and fuming and whatnot. Opaque bubs are good for people who don't want to clean their gear, especially black ones. I like my gear clean and don't mind clear glass that lets me see the junk that's collecting on the inside.

Also, the pics are getting better, but you might consider polishing your glass before photographing it, and using lighting other than the stock flash on your camera. Consider using a tripod, extended exposure method, and wave a flashlight over the pipe to highlight the different areas. That's an easy way to give your pics a more professional look. I usually set my camera to take several long exposure pics in a row while I'm lighting up my subject, then I pick the best one or try again.

(Sorry for the -rep; I'll make it up tomorrow with a double cheeseburger_)

  7. Thanks bro.
    I agree, thanks.
Dude, I'm just gonna hold my tongue here. But there's a lot of things that I want to say, but can't.

  8. ya trikky wtf is your problem, polish the god damn glass before you take the pix. You might want to purchase a whole photo studio for your glass as well, these pix aren't cutting it... anyway, go buy some better glass, and get your camera issues sorted out THEN post your pix............

  9. I know, I'm an asshole.

  10. As long as you recognize.;)

Yeah trikky you nub, get some translucent glass, only slobbish losers who keep their glass as SPARKLING CLEAN as you do have such amazing opaque glass.

  15. Think of it this way, if you ever needed photo tips you know who to ask :) Trikky you know you have sweet glass so i'll just go ahead and subscribe

  16. I'm pretty envious at this point. Everything is awesome.

  17. I don't know if it's the green/yellow background of this forum that makes people so sensitive. You guys give me some good laughs, though. I love the contributions that I see here and only hope that they get better. Would you want the opposite?

I haven't had a bubbler in years. I spilled the last one I had in my jacket pocket, and that kind of spoiled me on that kind of device.

  18. somekind...you're always living up to your reputation. Give it a break. Or join a photography forum, because I know I'm not speaking for just myself when I say I'm tired of reading your lame bullshit.

  19. If you consider your responses to be good contributions, than yes, we want the opposite.

Also, people aren't sensitive, they just see you for what you are, an asshole.

  20. Somekind only offers constructive criticism. either way...who cares! lets get back to the topic on hand...Trikky's thread!
