Tip or no tip in your joint ? What about glass tips ?

Discussion in 'Other Smoking Accessories' started by johndoesia, Jun 17, 2020.

  1. I guess tips comes in the accessories category . I have always used tips in my joints , I feel like the smoke / air / inhalation circulates better . But I've just seen a photo of a joint without anything , on another topic . if I use a tip which I always do , near the end the taste is kinda disgusting tho. I'll probably try without but I remember long time ago, it was sometimes leaving small weed bits on my lips , which is annoying - gotta spit it.
What about glass tips ? The brand " raw " has some of these, wonder how it's like. It's supposed to be used a few times before replacing. Could that be the solution for the weird taste I get near the end of the joint. I also hate the idea of the tip "burning" a little and inhaling some of that burned material in my joint.

I use the wide raw tips, not the small brown ones.

  2. I usually roll without a tip.
Back in the day a joint stone was pretty cool.

  5. I always use a tip. Never tried glass. Looks interesting. You could always clean them with an iso soak.

  6. tip if i roll a lucy ass bitch.

  7. I got a tip for ya, Seabiscuit in the seventh.

  8. In my opinion uses the cardboard/paper tips take away from the flavor of the buds. Although I always use a filter while rolling with king sized papers. Glass filters don’t take the taste away and it kinda feels like hitting a pipe or a chillum.

  9. A cardboard makes the joint experience better. No burned fingers, wasted herb or dealing with roaches. If I ever see those glass tips for less than $5 locally I will try one but I have a feeling if I don't break or lose it cleaning will be a pain.

  10. I just use pre-rolled cones. The tip is built in.

  11. Same. The only time I ever have a tip in my joints are if it’s cone. When I roll I don’t use one. Tried a glass filter for the first time just now. It was great.

  12. I think a tip only ever makes it better never worse. I'd rather get some prerolled cardboard ones than a glass one though since I always feel like joints are best for smoking when you're on the move, out and about and you can just toss the roach. But for at home it could be good.
