the super scientific homemade gravitational bubbler bong...

Discussion in 'DIY and Homemade' started by shanthespaceman, Jun 19, 2011.

  1. ive been making homemade scientific bongs for almost 3 years now, try making one of these babys.........
    gravatational bubbler bong invention bluesheet.jpg.png

  2. Not quite getting the process. How is the smoke drawn? It seems you fill the right chamber, then allow it to drain into the larger left chamber? pulling smoke down the stem in the right chamber, diffusing at the bottom, and collecting in the area where the carb is?

If so I dont see how you would fill the tube with both chamber as that level...assuming gravity does the work it would only fill about half way...until the water in both chambers is at an equal level..so you would have to elevate the right chamber high enough that it could drain completely. After that all the smoke would be held in the right chamber, then you would clear it through the left chamber?

If so I can't see how this would offer better diffusion than a regular bubbler would.

    what am I missing?

  3. Maybe you could show us some pics or videos of previous models so we can get an idea of how it works? I have been making homemade gravity bongs for a minute too but your diagram doesnt really help me understand what your trying to do.

  4. i have reviewed my blueprint and i honestly can not make a better diagram than i did last

  5. this isnt a brilliant discovery,

its jsut an elevator bong, youtube it sometime.

I think you might've wasted three years.

The smoke in the 2nd chamber would just go through the channel your "gravitationally" pulled water is supposed to pool through.

You just invented a double chambered bong, with the first chamber being a natural/stemless perc and the second chamber with a standard bowl/downstem.

  7. pretty sure he just drew a stemless bong with an attached ashcatcher.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the OP was intending to draw the smoke through the left chamber.(notice the flared top/mouthpiece)

  8. Why would you use a hole for a carb on a water piece? Wouldn't you use a slider?

  9. A drawing on paint doesn't claim copyright, I can't understand how it works, seems overly elaborate, what are the advantages compared to a regular bong or gbong?

looks like its based off a inline style bong, I made one similar to that but with acrylic cubes instead, it worked great until it started to get filthy..pics are in the Homemade toking tool thread. :smoke:

  11. dosnt work...?

  12. Show us a video...

  13. this

the water would get sucked out of the chamber that has the bowl attached

It looks like you have to pull through 2 feet of water? Or am I missing something...

EDIT - that's not the only issue....I don't think this could work at all

this wouldnt work?!?! the water would get sucked out plus it would have way to much drag...if you could show us a video on how it works i might believe you but this doesnt look like it could work
EDIT: this might work if you had a tube to replace the bowl with and hit it through that part but i just dont think it would work at all....

  16. bumping for interest, can we see some pics?

  17. dude how baked are you right now thinking thats good?

  18. The carb in this diagram is completely pointless. Your diagram wont work. Keep innovating tho

  19. You made an open ended manometer.

    Nothing revolutionary.

EDIT: People..Don't bump worthless threads which OP's have left...
