all i know is weedstar is bad quality. that ziggie guy is annoying and a bad representation of a business owner and this thread should NOT be stickied. Lets just be happy that I am about to go hit my RooR and not a weedstar
One suggestion I have: please get rid of carb holes. I was between EHLE and WS when I was buying my first bong (ended up getting a roor locally in the end). One thing that always put me off on the WS is: I would see a nice looking bong with nice features for a nice price... BUT that carb hole!!! There's no need. Also, the "WS" label looks a lot better than the "weedstar" label on bongs.

Weed Star offers that. * We are giving all our suppliers the space to promote their stuff within their official thread. We ask our suppliers to be respectfull to our members, we will talk to them when they don't, we ask for a constructive discussion, even if you feel you have to show your dislike of some of products we sell. * Ridiculous accusations about Chinese glass being made in sweatshops will be deleted. Not only is it not true, but we work with Chinese glass ourselves, Molino glass is made in Thailand, by young artists, with baggy trousers, piercings and iphones in their pockets. So it is in China, I've been there, and so have I been in Thailand. We check all our suppliers for business ethics. Just being angry that is being made cheaper and thus assuming it is much worse is not justified. If you want to compete, bring down prices, and make sure to deliver large wholesale quantities. Want to be an artist and sell unique pieces fine, but don't compare mass production to unique heady pieces. It's called competition and and free market economics. Unscrew you mobile phones and look where is stated : "Made in China" , and I can assure you Iphones are not made in sweatshops. * Regarding complaints why other glass manufacturers have no sticky or official thread. Start selling your glass on grasscity and you get your own thread and you can promote whatever you want, it's that simple * Regarding complaints why we don't sell more highend glass. Because the manufacturers do not respond to our call, emails, or the say they cannot deliver, or the say the can deliver, but in the end they can't. We would love to sell Toro, Illadelp, SYN , US tubes and you name it, but they just don't come up with the goods and they do not respond to our calls. Grasscity is the best platform to sell your glass online to the whole wide world, but for some reason some people just don't get it. At least people like G-spot, magic glass, Weed Star and Molino can deliver hundreds of pieces per month, on time and for an acceptable price the average person does not have to take a mortgage on to be able to afford a cool bong to smoke his stuff. * I understand some issues about Weed Star copying designs, however, the designs are not patented, so he is allowed to do that, the world is full of examples of stuff that is cloned, as if I would start yelling at everybody who owns a Ipod lookalike mp3player for 30 bucks, it's wasted energy. if you like it or not. If you can afford a RooR, Torro, Or whatever 400 + bong, good for you, awesome, but don't look down on the people who can't and be mature about it, that's all we ask. This place is about everything, highend, low end and middle class products. *update on Ehle, starting in mid march, we will revamp our EHLE Glass assortment and will be only selling EHLE glass without carbholes. thanks for the support, I took the time and has improved the inline precooler somewhat. The inline chamber is now bigger and wider, and I have also enlarged the holes, and one added. more volume and better go through.

The you copied this bullshit makes no sense. He takes a design, which in one case costs $200. This design is not available to someone on a budget. Enter Ziggi Jackson, takes the same design, makes it available at a lower cost. That design is now open to people on a budget. That makes sense to me? You dont have a budget? Get a RooR and quit complaining about WS. You have a budget? Check out this cool lookin bong in your price range. Guys, they cost 50 bucks for a reason. Also, if you make the double bubbler bong in 14.5 I would totally buy it.
He copied specific pieces, not just bongs and bubblers. His pieces were identical looking to the high end stuff but with thin glass and shoddy work. Up the craftsman ship on your end, and maybe people will start liking Weedstar more. Also, could everyone stop using WS as Weedstar, anyone in the glass game knows Wicked Sands has the WS term on lock down.

Case and point... Why did you feel it was necessary to trace over the work of an American artist to create your precoolers? The inline ashcatcher is a relatively simple glass innovation which Hops never even attempted to patent. It's free for everyone to use. Why did you copy one person's specific custom blueprint for making them? You could have drawn influence from a myriad of artists and created your own design... but you chose not to. Even as your precoolers progress they continue to contain elements of Wood's original design right down to the shaping of the glass and unique positioning of the teardrop and signature. Wood never got paid for your use of his work. How would you like it if somebody stole something you made and put their name on it and started selling it? The very most important change I would like to see in your business model is originality. Make your own stuff. The technology is fair game... but individual custom works are not. Those are the rules our artists follow... like unwritten rules of the road. Maybe you didn't know before... but now you do. I'm interested to see where you go from here... but I'll be watching in the background. For now, these are my last words to you.
