Why not do what most other companies do and put yourself across as an actual reputable business. Other glass companies are careful about their image and have no problem for years. I doubt that wearing an afro will make the police any less likely to fuck you if they want to.
I can't believe I actually donated to this forum. This is a place of hate now, and 'Smokers' with heads way too far up their asses. If I could do what Ziggi did, I would be a happy man. In a country with no glass scene (ie, Australia, except not QUITE as bad...) he decided to design cheap glass bongs. They got so popular, he went international. He asked the foreigners what they wanted in bongs, he listened, and then made them. He then makes videos of him either smoking the bongs, or throwing them on the ground and watching them not break, followed by saying "how can you go wrong for $50?". That is fucking heroic. WHAT is so wrong with it?!?!?! You talk about Ziggi ignoring things, how about all the posts in here where the key point has been "He makes budget products for a budget or deprived market. It is RIDICULOUS to compare them to higher end brands". WHY does that get ignored everytime? ZIGGI IS NOT TRYING TO MAKE ROORS!!! Stealing designs.... They're BONGS! They need a stem, a chamber, and a mouth piece, that's it! Have any of you expensive glass owners ever made a home made bong? Have you ever got high from a juice bottle, makeshift stem and bowl? Have you lit a hit, bubbled it through the plastic chamber, inhaled it, and got high? THAT'S THE IMPORTANT BIT!!! I can speak from personal experience, as I own a Fat Joe. It's a monster. It's solid, it hits like you'd expect a tube looking like that to hit, and there is not a thing wrong with it for the $53 I paid. Why has this place become about the quality of your piece and weed? When did it stop becoming about stoners coming together? Why can't someone who smokes the best strain with a $1000+ roor, even stand to be put in the same category as someone who gets high off mids in a $50 weedstar bong? If I was Ziggi, I think it would be completely appropriate if I just trolled all the home made bong threads, and called all the posters there dickheads and assholes. Right? I mean... he posts his products, and he gets called everything. He says "see that bong worth hundreads? Well here's my version, for half price", and apparently that doesn't fit the stoner mentality. Apparently making glass available to a wider audience, making percs and things that people ask for... well that's not good, that's nothing to do with 420, or bonding as smokers. My fucking god. If Ziggi walked into a group of like 6 guys, who'd just spent a good chunk of their pay splitting an ounce for the night or something, and he offered them a free messias, ghetto bitch, fat joe. to use for the night, instead of either their acrylic or homemade bong... it'd be the greatest night of their lives! The fact that there are people here who would see a stoner with a bong, and turn their nose up at it because their Luke Wilson is the only thing THEY smoke out of... it's pathetic. How well do you think someone on a forum is going to respond when met with "Hey, you're a dickhead, I dont like you as a person, you run your company bad, WHERES THE CHINA GLASS?!!?, you make shit videos" etc.? Ziggi could spend 24/7 replying to abuse. Just give it a fucking rest. Ziggi's products are on grasscity.com now, so live with that first. Then live with the fact that there gets to be a WS thread stickied, where the owner of the company gets to post videos of himself demoing his new products. Think about if the best way to respond to "Hi, any tips for products you want?" is with "Get the fuck out of OUR community, stop plugging your cheapshit glass that is endorsed by the site that we are posting on". By all means, keep going. Keep harassing Ziggi. It reveals what type of people you are. It shows that you've lost touch with just getting high with other people, through whatever tool you can get your hands on. If smoking to you is about aquiring the BEST, the most artistic, the most floorlessly hitting bongs, well go do that.... go do it quietly, in the corner, with the other people that like to do that. QUIETLY snicker at us suckers and out crap weed star pieces, and KNOW that you're better. We'll be over here, GETTING HIGH, AND BEING FRIENDLY TO EACH OTHER. Just to make a point, and just to even... try and 'bond' with the upper class, I'll list my complaints too about Weedstar: * I own one of the 14.5 HQ diffusers, ironically for one of my Aussie glass pieces. I put it air tight in a grommet.... . Anyways, the problem is the holes are way too small, and the stem isn't open ended. It can only be used with an ash catcher, or a gauze piece and carb the hit. If you snap bowls with it, it gets clogged in 1 - 3 hits. * The bowls. I don't like most of the 18.8 bowls so far. It's the MASSIVE hole in them. I hate having a really large surface area, and a gauze. I am used to snapping cones, with a tiny funnel shaped hole. My favourite bowls to use are actually the Molino medium cups available on grass city. They have a PERFECT snap hole in them. So, if you can make your 18.8 bowls with snap holes instead of massive gauze filled holes, that would make me happy. Having said that tho, looking on youtube, the glass cube bowl looks like it has a good hole. I'm keen to try one. * The bowls again. Either supply a free gauze with the bongs, or make a big blatant warning that it will need one. The bowls are literally useless without a gauze piece * Maybe start making some more armed percs. People seem to like many many many arms... so make a special edition 13 arm perced messias or something.

A community of smokers is about bonding over smoking, not abusing each other about not being good enough at it. Well the fact that he charges $70 for an inline isn't that great, you can get a SSFG one for $90, and they are decent inlines. WS just rips every design off, not 3 or 4, and that is what makes people angry about them. Imagine if everyone made the same thing, it would be bad for innovation. WS also makes crappy products, even if they cost little. They cost little because the products have bad joints, thin glass, and are not quality items. My friend had a WS bong, and I smashed it with my Toro, because the joint broke off. While he had it, he always thought "As long as I dont drop it, it is as good as your Toro". Well he had an inline on it with one of my big slides, and the joint broke. I asked him if I could break it, he said yea, and I literally used my Toro as a baseball bat on it. It SHATTERED. Yea I spent more on the toro, about twice as much as he did on the WS, but hey, I only had to buy 1 Toro, he never bought a new bong, because he thought it would be a waste of money to buy a collection worth of bongs over a few years time.

Also, El Brossidente, it isn't hard to get glass in Australia, if you know where to look. I am pretty sure 420DownUnder has one of the biggest collections, if not the biggest in the world, and lives in Australia.
