cheaper in NYC? i walked all around the village and went in about 15 shops. they all had that type of bubbler for $60+, some without a carb! wish i didn't live in this damn overpriced city then. i could have went to Brooklyn and gotten cheaper stuff i guess, but that would have taken me hours
What?!!? You can get great deals in the city^! you just have to know where to look and how to talk and get a better deal. Start some small talk and bullshit for a bit while talking about glass(know what your talking about!) and looking around, ask about a few different pieces at least, then just talk the price down.
i tried to get it down to 55 but he wouldn't budge. at that point, after going to several places and seeing more expensive stuff that was lesser in quality, i wanted to smoke and my patience wore thin. oh well, it's hitting nice. just wish more places were honest and didn't rip me off. how much do you think that bubbler would go for on average? all the similar ones i see on web sites are 55-70.
Maybe about $50, but it's honestly hard to tell the quality just from a picture. But yea my first nice bub was $55 and it's a thick hammer that has a slide that's attached by a grommet so it cones out for cleaning and easy access to the water chamber. You've got to walk the walk AND talk the talk, you know what I'm sayin?? Yes a carbon filter makes a HUGE difference, even more so then an ashcatcher as it doesn't do the same thing as water.
My buddy has one exactley like this but with a foot and a half extension on the top and diffuser female with ashcatcher Hits awesome!
Not the entire family or even the entire bubbler family. But haven't gotten em all clean an thrown together for a picture cuz I just don't care enuf.
