if you lose the foil youre golden... that shit kills, literally, the foil burns and goes into your lungs and never cmes out.
No, lol, that foil does not burn hot enough to vaporize or liquefy the metal. The only harm would come from the scraping of the bowl to get the tar or ash out. This could make shards of aluminum that could be sucked in. But because of the water, that is unlikely.
have you ever held a piece of aluminum foil to a flame? the fragile state of the paper thin aluminum means that it does not have to vaporize or liquify to become fragmented, and in that state the mere force of inhalation would cause the particles to dislodge, and some aluminum particles are small enough to be carried along with the smoke into the lungs. if you or the original poster wish to risk that, go right ahead, i dont dictate others actions, but i myself will never advocate the use of aluminum foil, aluminum soft drink cans or pvc in any homemade device in which they come into contact with a flame and/or the smoke.

let me be clear that i am aware of the dangers of foil. i just dont really care i plan on getting a glass downstem and bowl soon, howver in the meantime im not too worried. aluminum foil isnt that bad for you, and id be willing to bet that cigarettes kill me first i can respect that, however, i chain smoke newports and/or black n milds, so if i was worried about my lungs, id be more worried about all the radioactive shit thats actually a trick of the light, the pom bong had been built about half an hour before the video was put online that foil bowl, however, has seen a good amount of use, infact its been on all my newer homemades. lol i am "that russ kid." coolestpyro is my channel name
A better option, go to your local headshop, buy a slide. Or if you wanna stick to home-made go to a music store and pick up a trumpet mouth piece. It usually fits perfectly! =] Sterilize the trumpet mouthpeice after every use though.
