So I'm looking at materials for my next home made piece, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what temperature the smoke is as it comes out of the bowl before it hits water? I'm trying to make sure that whatever plastic I decide to use for the downstem won't melt. Right now I'm looking leaning towards polycarbonate, any suggestions?
