    GET A NEW slide.
    Get rid of the pen tube. its going to melt. and burn and fumes. and AHHHHHHH

    find something metal brass steel, just dont use a pen as a slide. HORIBLE!

    It really isn't to bad, I use pens on all my homemades and I've never had any problems.

    You cant use brass as a bowl, get your facts straight. No lead, brass or aluminum.
    Either way nice job even thought its all plastic

    +1. That electrical tape on the socket is gonna melt and spew some pretty nasty fumes into your smoke

    Aluminum is actually pretty safe. It has an extremely high melting point that a bic can't reach.

    Nice job man!

    But i agree with the pen downstem being unsafe. I use a glass downstem and bowl for all my homemades.

    Chill the fuck out dude lol, I had a Glass down stem and slide/bowl but it broke. This is just temporary.

    I personally avoid aluminum because over long periods of time it can cause long term damage.

    I don't use it, But from what i've read i would disagree.
    Bics burn at 1442-2552 F depending on what part of the flame is used and alumanum foils melting point is 4566 F. But if you are going to use foil make sure its pure aluminum foil because some types of foil have added chemicals.

    dude,

    EVER single homemade bong i have ever made i do the same thing and the tape has never gotten anywhere near melting.

    thats the point of electrical tape.
