You may have seen this article Toxic air pollutants from smoking cannabis with a bong are 4 times worse than cigarettes, study finds Cannabis, marijuana bong smoke more dangerous than cigarettes: Study I just want to show you why this was some really biased " bad science". All you need to do is look at the time of use from the study to see why it is a load of manure! Time of use & parts per million in the air from a chart in the study (I tried to copy & paste it, but it didn't work) Cannabis bong 140 minutes with 1300 ppm Tobacco in a Hookah(waterpipe) 42 minutes with 310 ppm in a Cigarette 23 & 40 minutes with 330 and 320 ppm, respectively "Measurement of PM2.5 exposure concentrations from ad libitum cannabis or tobacco smoking in homes located in the US. Home smoking and sampling in each study occurred in similar living room settings." ("ad libitum" -as much as you want) The amount used is not discussed- and I know I would smoke a lot more cannabis in 2 hours and 20 minutes than someone would smoke tobacco in 40 minutes! (FYI- Tobacco makes me vomit.) So what do you think the ppm would be if the tobacco smokers had puffed for 2 hours and 20 minutes? If they had the cannabis smoker smoke for only 40 minutes, this might have been an interesting study. But with the huge time difference, it makes this just another junk science study! Granny
