ok, potheads... let us talk about cannabis farms in the imperial valley! Holy cow we were driving for at least 15 miles straight and the incredibly strong smell of cannabis was overwhelming. I am not joking at all, mega stink to the max. I smelled it and I didn't say anything, and soon my dad says do you smell pot. Then he says it must be someone smoking in a car up ahead because I've smelled it for a while now. I said no dad that growing pot, not smoking pot. he said, so right just like your garage, I love that smell. I'm like me too! lol. 15 miles of skunk. so I get home and type in cannabis farms in imperial valley. And many of them popped up, including job positions. jeez! I had a fun time with dad reliving our glory days at Salton sea, we found our old haunts. ill post photos tomorrow. peace out!
I'm so fucking happy... I had a great day! We start the season of camping, river, and sandbuggying at easter at the Salton sea. it was a complete flashback to my youth. Bread and America 8 tracks, the wind blowing, catching Covina, Tilapia, and Croker. drinking at Helen's bar. we found the burnt-out remains of the bar. man, it was like driving through a cemetery. my dad almost cried.
So crazy to hear that Salton used to be the place to be! Every time I pass through there, I always think of how much money that place should be taking in. I've driven through both sides on the main highway and the back way going towards Slab City. Just looks like the perfect location. I read that the water flowing into there is continually polluting the place and there's nothing that can be done about it.
