After a long hiatus I have returned. I began my growing in a 4 x 4 tent years ago and after a break due to changes in life I have gotten to a place I could devote the time to another grow. After a late start last season I finished the build on my 20x10×10' greenhouse. It will eventually be fully walled in compartmented and become a mother room and cloning/seedling room. Around January time I should have 2 250 plant greenhouses put in, which will become the main growing areas. 90% of those two greenhouses will be hemp flower for my company, but will have my personal ladies. Since I got a late start getting this year's girls into the ground they didn't get much time before they flipped to flowering due to sun pattern.they get supplement lighting during sun hours with 6 100w led multi spectrum lights. But they are purple power fem. Currently allowing them to flower out inside a temp smaller section inside greenhouse. Alot easier to keep warm on those sub 30 nights. Figure it won't be alot for harvest but good to see what they can do. Also have already started my mother plants for my next season for greenhouse indoors. Depends on the temps. Now that the new section is triple layered it actually rarely will come on after initial warm up. But I would say maybe on average about same amount that it costs me to run all 6 lights a full 24 hours. Sent from my SM-S727VL using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I just noticed you have a solid roof. Everybody gives me a ration of shit for blocking light. I would like to use clear panels. I get this airplane, sometimes helicopter, that circles my house at very low level. He shows up in the late spring, then returns just about 2 weeks before harvest. Every year. Otherwise I'd be using clear roof panels. My brother just sent me a kerosene heater. Suppose to heat 10,000 BTU for 14 hours on a gallon. That will sure help winter growing. I have been using propane for a couple hours a night during frost warnings. I'm going to section off a smaller area like you. The thought has crossed my mind, but I just never got a round tuit. It would be cool to get serious about winter growing.
