Heyy city, made some slide stands last night over new years...stained wood can be fun after a few beers haha! I actually decided I personally needed to make some of these after my slide rolled off the table and broke.. not so much a toking tool as a toking tool saver.

Lemme know what you think n what improvements i could add to them, they function pretty nice so far. I made a personal 6 holder for my slides, and a 2 holder for my neighbor to test out. Imma get more involved with the designs for sure....maybe some engraving but for sure some more intricate designs....lemme know! So far the stands can fit either 14 or 18, and any amount of slides needed. Natural wood or stained. These are the first to i made so obviously the quality will get better....I got another one i need to make for my other slides, it'll turn out better after an hour of sanding or so.

    HAPPY NEW YEARS FOLKS!

Thanks for looking. Any improvements or suggestions let me know! Made one for myself and my neighbor, liking it so far! No slides rolling off the table as of yet!
    Happy new years !

  2. Nice idea man could save clumsy peopl. ALOT of money, i've got a mate who doesnt smoke anymore but when he did he'd go through a Bong a month and sliders every few weeks, clumsy fucker...
    Nice slides by the way:smoking:

  3. Lol I'm going to get one of my redneck carpenter friends to make me a bong rack, slide holder and pipe perch now. :D

    Good stuff missionskates!

  4. thats a great idea! i think i'll made a "bong rack" and i'll post pics up tonight. Too funny, i love the name!

Ya the cost of 1 slide holder is wayyy less than one nice slide!

    Thanks for the comments! :)

  5. cool! Or if you don't have a drill you could probably use Styrofoam.

  6. thats also a good idea, but only thing i'd be worried about is like the styrofoam bits breaking off & into your slide.....who knows.

I'm making the improved stands now! They look much better.

    Will post pics later tonight

  7. What kind of drill did you use? I have a dremel... I'd like to make a bong stand for my Hurricane (keep it from tipping, yet not be too large). I've already got some ideas.

  8. Gosh..i'm not sure the exact type but it's just a regular plug in drill....slightly larger than a dremel but not by much.

I'm going to save you 20$ and tell you the bit dimensions....lol. I bought a 5 pack set an only needed 2.

The 14mm slides take a 1/2", and the 18mm slides take a slightly larger than a 5/8", i'm not sure what it'd be but i use a 5/8th then turn the drill in circles to widen the hole slightly....if you find the exact measurement that'd be cool.

I bought the tools at my local sears hardware.

  9. Muchas gracias!

The blueprints I'm laying out are calling for a bong stand, with a built in slide holder. Genius brotha!

  10. excellent,

i'm not sure if you have a "Hobby Lobby" by you but i went to one near me this morning and it's AMAZING. it's like a walmart but just hobbys.....they had isles and isles of precut wood, shelving, ANYTHING. I got the coolest base panel woods that i'll use tomorrow for the slide holders.....send me your plans i'll send you mine we can collaborate!

  11. Yup got one 4-5 blocks away! Damn that's cool. :)

I won't be able until the 4th of Jan. when I actually have use of a scanner. :(
