Traditionally, a gravity bong is comprised of 2 bottles cut in half. Although recently I had a sesh with a friend of mine after school. Dude pulls out a gravity bong but the interior bottle has holes instead of being cut in half. My question is, what is the purpose of the holes in this alternative gravity bong? The mechanics of the classic gravity bong is that you use the water to force the smoke into your lungs. I struggle to find the mechanics of this alternative gravity bong. If there's anyone that has tried both, please tell me which one hits better in terms of its mechanism.
The holes are to pull the smoke in slower or at a fixed rate compare to free handing with an open ended bottle. Also allows you to transport or have the bottle out of the water without loosing your hit
Hell yeah that's cool I thought u might be a kid on here that's why I asked I've never smoked the kind of GB you're in about.. where are the holes exactly? I've only ever used a plastic bottle then a bowl from a bong/pipe
They force all the smoke into your lungs without any air so I'd say they'd get you more ripped as it's pure smoke no oxygen
This particular gravity bong is just like the classic where you have a smaller bottle inside a bigger bottle. Except, the smaller bottle instead of being cut in half, it has at least 5 holes at the very bottom. But from observation, it's basically a Gravity bong and a waterfall bong combined, meaning the holes on the bottom reminds me of a waterfall bong. Instead of pushing down on to the water for it to force the smoke into your lungs, all you do is lift the smaller bottle just about an inch off the water surface while the water drains out and you hit it like a normal bong. But from experience, I've had quicker highs with classic gravity bongs.
