Ok so I'm a student without a job so a lovely, expensive glass piece is out of the question. What I DO have is a small budget which could buy me some weed, a cheap bong or some tools. So I guess I could: A) Build a home made bong out of stuff lying around the house and spend all the money on weed. B) Buy a cheap plastic bong tommorow morning and spend the rest on weed. C) Buy a diamond tipped drill bit, a nice stem/bowl (glass?), cross my fingers that my dads drill is actually decent and try to build a glass bong out of an old bottle of booze. I'm not too keen on the idea of a messy bong made out of a bottle and a pen to be quite honest but if the results aren't considerabley worse than a cheap plastic one I don't see any reason not too. C is the option I'm most fond of to be honest but it does seem like a huge amount of effort and I'd need a little reassurance that the results would be better. Any help guys?
yeah save money. with 100 dollars you can buy a nice bong that you'll never need to upgrade if you don't want to.
I see the logic but it's likely to get broken at some point or another...or stolen. Sometimes it sucks being young. Everyones short on cash and there are people who have no respect for other peoples property. So I'd rather go for a piece I could replace if something unfortunate happened to it. I can still remember the sound of glasses being repeatedly smashed through out sunday night.
fasho. then i would say get something smaller and easier to hide, like even a small bubbler. the problem with a plastic piece is the inability to clean it properly, and so the taste of your smoke is gonna get nasty real quick. i dunno i'm a huge proprietor of no reason buying a shitty bong just to have it broken or taken. better to just save your cash, smoke herbs and wait.
Well if I were to make a glass one I could always just drill another hole in another glass bottle. I'd just need to keep a close eye on my stem and bowl lol.
1) Get some applications..find a job..or a better paying job (if you have the time) 2. Accumulate money on the side, so you dont spend everything you earn on weed and bongs. 3)Find out what you want..try out different methods.Bongs/vaporizers/pipes/blunts/joints...etc 4) Look for a headshop and seek what satisfies you..try to build a reputation with the staff of store..so they can be friendly..lower prices..better advice on pieces..hell doesn't hurt having friends that work at a headshop..yes..im right lol. and also..try negotiating the price doesn't hurt if it doesn't work just pay the labeled price. 5) if you don't feel like going to a physical headshop..just go online..find a site..double back..research the site you find through other threads..so you don't get ripped.Once you find a good site..and the piece you want..go ahead and purchase it. 6) receive and enjoy. 7) Honestly if you can't afford to enjoy weed properly ,then just don't do it at all man..thats my opinion.
