Knowing some people have cannabis they like using in the daytime and other types they would use at nighttime, it occurred to me you might get indica residue from the previous night (in your grinder) contaminating your sativa herb you put in the same grinder the next morning. Bearing that in mind, would it be reasonable to have 2 different grinders -- one for indica, one for sativa... so you avoid this cross-contamination?
the vast majority of strain in the nth america are hybrid's, both sat and indica, so you will need a 3rd
I had this idea about 6 months ago and bought a second grinder, but after about a week I just got lazy and only use the newer one which is much less gummed up. TBH I never noticed much of a difference in the high, but then again I typically grind only as much as I plan to smoke in the next 1-2 hours so its not like there was a lot of cross contamination as I only put new nugs in when the grinder is empty.
No point in doing this at all. The whole "Sativa is energetic and indica is relaxing" thing isn't even really true. Like it's generally kind of true but there's so many exceptions blowing holes in it that it looks like Swiss cheese. And yeah mostly hybrids out there too. You'll be grinding all kinds of weed with varying levels of cannabinoids and terps unless you get a new grinder each time you get new weed or clean it all the time there will still be some residual bit left over. It's not enough to matter or worry about to where it's really gonna affect the flavor or high.
Pointless. To minor amounts to have any effects. Scrub the resin off with denatured alcohol and an old toothbrush. Makes the grinder like new again. THC is THC and the slight perceived differences are minor changes in the THC to CBD ratio and some differences in Terpene levels. Made into edibles it's all the same. No differences at all as far as your Liver is concerned. Delta-9-THC gets turned into 11-Hydroxy-THC and that rips your mind apart no matter the source of the THC and everything else becomes very minor players and not in the game at all. BNW
Agree except this part since there's other psychoactive cannabinoids including different forms of THC like THC-V, although THC and CBD are definitely the biggest and probably what people would really notice if anything
I recently got a small santa cruz hemp grinder to try out before buying a big metal one. It only works with very dry hydro nuggets that are rock solid and months old. Anything else just cakes up everywhere making the grinder stick instead of spin in one use. I can't scrape it clean so I have to wash it in the kitchen sink.
My son got one of these, says it works nice. https://zamgrinders.com/blogs/weed-grinders/best-mini-weed-grinder
No. There's several, THC and CBD are the most well known and probably plentiful in weed. There's a common misconception that CBD isn't psychoactive but that comes down to a misuse of the word psychoactive since people have been associating it with meaning it gets you high. I mostly blame people marketing CBD as "non psychoactive". It sounds very palatable to people who may be on the fence about cannabis so marketing wise it definitely worked but it's not an accurate use of the word.
What does psychoactive mean in your reality? Interesting study - https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acsomega.9b02663
Pretty sure I'm operating in the same reality as everyone else but if people would prefer to live in their own and reject the literal definition of a word they can feel free to do so. psy·cho·ac·tive /ˌsīkōˈaktiv/ adjective (chiefly of a drug) affecting the mind. "Affecting the mind" is something CBD does even if doesn't get you "high" for example
I think you should get a new grinder everytime you smoke just so the other strains don't affect your current one. Hell even if it's the same strain just buy another grinder. Then buy a grinder for your grinder then go on grindr while eating a grinder while grinding up bud and sharping tools on a grinder. That enough grinders for ya?
Alright bro if u wanna doubt everything go ahead but you sound like u just wanna disagree with everything. I said using different grinders isn't gonna change shit but as far as different cannabinoids go there's all kinds of research on them and their uses and effects.
