It was 485, and from a shop registered on the Roor site. But, at least one LHS that's registered has some sketch pieces (and staff have had little to no knowledge on spotting fakes), so I don't want to count on the fact that I found the shop through the Roor site. The additional label on the beaker, is that common? Thanks.
The little label is definitely not common but it could be one of the many custom options available. Yours has several of those options- the blue crown on the lips and bowl, the colored ice pinches. It looks legit to me but I'm no expert- certainly the nod from Roor's site is good. From what I've seen locally, the stores on Roor's website sell roor.de. If it has "Made in Germany" on the bottom, that's an easy way to tell (that may not be the case for all .de products).

Now I know there is a thread all about telling fake RooRs and I even googled it. But I am stoned from breaking her in this morning, and can't tell. It seems real by comparing, but still not sure. Paid 225 for it. Is that price fair and is it real? The downstem was diffused. You cant see that.
I am no expert on spotting the fakes, but it looks good to me and has the same features as mine bought from a roor authorized dealer. Bowl has the colored dot which looks like a roor bowl, signature, correct logo. Looks good to me although like I said I am no expert at spotting fakes with these. Just a question, do you use a glass screen? I noticed a lot of chunks in your water, the roor glass screens work great but you gotta keep them clean, might want to check it out if you want to make the most from your bowl and not have it get sucked down the downstem.
I don't know how to spot a fake, to be honest with you. For 225, I'd say that's a fair price. A few years ago I was looking into ordering one and it was going to end up costing somewhere around there as well. The price fits, but I think that's the point of a fake. I guess it all depends on where you bought it.

Ya this shop had like 5 RooRs just like this one, all the same price. The other RooRs didnt have the logo or signature so i picked this one out, asked the guy about it and he said ya its real cause that signature. About the others he was like "I dont know about those tho" It is pretty heavy and thick glass.
I just bought the cypress hill icemaster 5.0mm, now i bought it from grasscity So I know it's legit, but are there any fake versions of that particular model. Also Does that model have a sig and can anybody show pics
Yeah, why did the name change. Very strange title they gave it as well. I don't think fakers are making exact models of RooR's to pass them off as fake.
It went back to its original title. I just don't understand why they'd unsticky this one and leave a review of a bong you can't even buy anymore up.
