I love this piece I've had numerous people tell me how it hits like a train haha this one guy even said it brought a tear to his eye b/c it was so nice to hit. Did you get a diffuser with yours? Mine accidentally broke the other day so I'm using my regular replacement downstem until I order another. still hits hard af though just not as smooth Who Dat!
For my next purchase I plan on either ordering the 5mm black label ash catcher or get the RooR oil rig set up. can't decide Who Dat!
Ya i got a diffuser, a must in my books. I been trying to be super careful with everything as its pricey to replace. My friends love mine aswell. I love it since its super easy to clean. Sometimes I just stare at it, since its so beautiful lol. I would like the a/c as well, i got a noname a/c on there now which is nice but if you rip to hard you pull water through into the bong. I was thinking about a showerhead a/c would be more to my liking vs. roor a/c. All in preference.
Haha I do the same with mine even set it up next to my bed so I can keep an eye on it if I do get the a/c I would most likely pick up another de. Diffuser to go with it Who Dat!
The only thing I know for sure is Sheldon doesn't do Roor USA anymore. Even how it happened depends on who you ask. If you ask Sheldon, he'll say he gave the RooR license up. Ask RooR Germany and they'll say they threatened legal action if he didn't stop making RooRs. The history of RooR Tech is even more unclear. I heard they were being produced at the same facility with RooR USA and Lux, and Sheldon Black was in charge of the facility. I have no idea who makes them now, but RooR Techs bear a very strong resemblance to Zobs. To me, the most interesting question is which came first, RooR USA or RooR Tech. As far as RooR brands merging into one, I believe what they're shooting for is if you buy a RooR in Europe or the USA you are going to get the same pipe. Personally, I believe this was the source of problems between RooR and Sheldon. RooR Germany wanted someone to produce RooR USA to RooR Germany's specs - indistinguishable from one another. They wanted it this way to help people identify a fake RooR easier. Sheldon had new ideas and wanted to make the product more current. So that's why the origin of RooR tech is interesting to me. Did Sheldon originally get the RooR Tech license first and was asked to make RooR USAs later? Or did he get the RooR USA license first, and was given the RooR Tech license so he could percolate the tubes and continue to make RooR USA to Germanys specifications. I'm sure RooR Germany hates RooR Tech for confusing consumers.
If RooR.de would just throw a statement somewhere I sure it would clear up a lot. I agree techs look like a zob creation, I would think if they are producing them or whatever they would at least be like, "hey everyone we make roor.techs. I thought Sheldon only got a roor.us license and had nothing to do with roor.tech. Like I said Roor.de really should just post something. Edit ; Ty for your input/info you are helping me learn a lot.

I would either order from .de or roor shop Amsterdam(no need for middle men). I am sure there are many other places to order from, but no idea what is legit or not. They seem to like EDIT so that may be a good option as well. Personally I would check out your lhs and see what they carry.(I hate waiting for shipping) Just checked out EDIT, they look good you even get a free grinder.
Ok, I've read many pages of this forum, and I wish I had searched it, or even know that there were fakes when I got sometime between 2007-2010 from a head shop in Chicago. Anyway, It has most of the qualities discussed, but it doesn't have a sig aside from a blue dot on the bowl. Here are some photos. Put this black thing in so you can see the white lettering, which is much smaller than most I've seen on this thread Here are is the bottom up close. And the stem and bowl (never used the bowl, bought an off brand a/c.) It came in a brown cardboard box with "Zuma DCH clear beaker" written on the top with sharpie. Did I buy a fake? Oh it's still hands down the smoothest and best bong I've ever ripped, though my sample size is admittedly quite small...
