Hey guys I posted a pic of my roor on page 226 . Its the gold logo. Anyways every one here seems to think its legit. I was cleaning it with rubing alcohol and I notice the logo on the front starting to fade?? Has anyone experienced this I heard oxyclean can do that. Also I havent found anything saying that if the logo fades then its fake.. it still all on there but its starting to fade a little what do u guys think?
ROOR - Pure Smoke Kulture I got it at twisted which is on roor.de for authorized roor dealers .. in Sacramento cali
your's is real what are u using to clean it? if your using acetone stop. and stop rubbing the labels when u clean it and just avoid contact with the label is your best bet
I used 91% isopropol . Notuing else. Wat happened was some spilled out and I wiped it of t. Logo thats when I came off. Maybe I should have rinsed I rather than whiped it. I use it for dabs so cleaning is rare. Thanks
My friend has a gold label too and it is starting to get worn off. I think it is because they actually use real gold and it is not that durable
Yeah it has to be the label. It is a real roor. I've heard of this happening on Illy's also and they use real gold on the labels also so that could be the issue. I've used ISO, simple green and oxy clean on my RooR and the label is just as bright as day I bought it 13 years ago.
that's actually a signature that the glass blower done, his roor looks fake but real ones do have that
^Can't believe I came across your post, I was actually in negotiations with that seller to purchase a Rasta Roor. Before sending my payment I asked a few questions though, since I have had 3 RooRs prior. I asked if it was American or German made, he replied 'they are Canadian made RooRs, that is what the seller told me'----> aka they are fake as hell. iOffer.com has some sketchy RooRs, if you check them out, I would say 10-15% of the RooRs on there are legit, and the price is reflected on it (example: $330 for a Rasta Fairmaster RooR on there, as opposed to $140 for a 5mm Rasta beaker. 5mm is pretty thick, so that beaker should be in the $300 range) If you want a fake RooR that looks legit to the average person then go ahead, but you'll always know it's not real, and therefore not the same.
