It looks fake to me. The base is weird looking and stamped, and the tube just looks to thin and straight in my eyes, also the top base is so thin. I would vote for fake.
All those things could be effects of ROOR's quality control issues and weird picture angles. Without a sig... this one is up in the air... but nothing about it shouts fake to me... well except the diffy. But... may I remind you all that diffys are interchangeable.

Of course I would love to see more images and the signature but just from looking at it in general and overall appearance it just looks fake and not like a normal R00R. But like you said .US does slack sometimes when blowing their glass... I think the diffy has R00R written on it though but I could be wrong, so if that is the case then it fake but they might have swapped it just because some kid came in here wanting a R00R down stem and the owner of course wanted to make money so he sold it. I think we just need some more information on this tube and some better pictures for any of us to make a good decision.
You're kidding right? There are loads of people who'd rather have any diffy than a downstem by any brand. I'm certainly one of them. I've met one person in all my travels that prefers downstems over diffusers. Besides, it would be very much indicative of an unlicensed ROOR dealer to post a ROOR without the downstem... maybe they never got one. ROOR used to make slit diffys. I almost bought one once. They were mostly produced before "my time" so I don't even attempt to guess whether they're real or not. I don't know what to look for. Regardless, diffys just aren't a good way of spotting fakes because they come out of the tube. Until I see something that definitively points me in the direction of fake... I won't say it is. I've seen genuine ROORs with smallish lips like this one and similar bases. It doesn't look stamped to me.... stamped bases are generally flat... not flared. What we need is to play a little game of "Turn the tube"... cause without a sig pic it really is impossible to tell sometimes.
If thats real it's one of the new ones. Never seen a dementia tube that looked like that. Weird bowl, joint, mouthpiece...

Looks exactly like my Roor.us bowl. Pretty sure mine is a Dementia piece. Somebody else could probably elaborate better, but that is a legit bowl, i do know that... Roor.us on left, Roor.de on right.

^^Wasn't there an authentic RooR.us that was double perced with no splash guard posted a while back? Obviously this one is fake, though...that perc is just awful quality.
Yeah I do remember seeing that. I looked more into it and he told me that only the newer ones didn't have them. The only reason I said that about the tube above because it just looks fake and there isn't a splash guard at all and it just looks odd. Good job
Huh? Everything on that tube is typical of a Dementia ROOR. My buddies tube looks pretty much exactly the same... probably from the same time period 07-09 some time...
