RC Nitro Engine Pipe?

  1. Just wondering if anyone's tried this?

I have a few old ones laying about before i converted to electric and iv started taking one apart. Looks like you could take the piston out, use the carb as a bowl and toke through the exhaust port? Obviously clean it all first, but you could use the carb and mixture needles to control smoke flow.

What do you guys think? I'll post some pictures if i can make mine work :)

  2. That'd look pretty bad ass, easy to conceal too ;)

  3. It works! All i did was strip the cylinder head, remove the backing plate and pull the piston/conrod out, put it back together and wound the idle needle all the way in. Pulls excellently and since the whole thing is basically a heatsink its super cool smoke too. Also, iv taking the locking screw out so the carb just lifts off for easy cleaning :)

Gonna try and get hold of some glass soon and see if the carb fits as a bowl, since it would be fully controllable, really easy to clean, doesnt require a gauze and looks awesome!

I'll post some pictures soon but it doesnt look any different than a standard engine :)

  4. I'd use one. My grandfather has a bunch of nitro R/C plane engines. Maybe he'll smoke a bowl with me if I make one XD

  5. Dude, fuck yeah! I can't believe you thought of that and pulled it off! + rep
    Also, pics!!! :hello: :bongin:

  6. Here's some pics :)

Obviously it just looks normal (except the bowl is full of weed bits :D)

I'm tying to find a straight exhaust manifold for it, so its a little less awkward to toke on, but for now im more than happy with it :D

And i got a nice shiny piston as a desk ornament too :)

Oh, and i know the outside looks a little mucky, but the internals have all been soaked in G101 (industrial, food safe all purpose cleaner) and ran through the dishwasher :) Its clean! and you cant taste anything other than the smoke.
