  1. I honestly can’t believe this film is so poorly rated. I loved the dry humor in this movie. It’s not meant to be scary I don’t think. Anyways 8/10 for me. Gotta love Bill Murray and Tilda Swinton

  2. Netflix viewers are the best movie critics I've seen.
They (1000+) give this one a 38% rating.

  3. I think people just don’t get the dry deadpan humor and 4th wall breaking. It’s a great film and it’s a relief. I’m somewhat tired of flashy films with drawn out drama and action, explosions etc. this is a quiet and quite sarcastic film. Fuck rotten tomatoes lol.

  5. After losing everything in the Great Recession, a woman embarks on a journey
through the American West, living as a van-dwelling modern-day nomad.
After reading much about current 'merica on GC and seeing 'white trailer trash'
is a realization a Euro won't forget, but still an Academy Award for sure
Stoner Value = Low, unless you are in a Van (prev. posted. here.)

Nomadland currently leading the Bafta's along with 'Rocks' that @Dizzy will kill for ...lol

  16. A retired special forces officer is trapped in a never ending time loop on the day of his death.

this movie shouuld be real winner but missed the mark- poor directing a muddled script

I need a 2nd review, but in truth I couldn't handle another Ground Hog Day
Boss Level is a good time killer.
    Pros:
    • Frank Grillo. The guy oozes charisma.
    • Ground Hog day time twist provides plenty of opportunities for mayhem.
    • Some funny moments throughout.
    • Guan Yin.
    • Cartoonish and over the top tone.
    Cons:
    • Boring story moments. Any of the lulls between the action.
    • Gibson underutilized.
    • None of the action sequences stand-out.
    • Inconsistent VFX.
Overall Boss Level is a fun movie you can burn 90 minutes watching and not regret it. I would love to see Frank Grillo in some more serious action roles like the long gestating remake of The Raid.
    Stoner Value- 5/10

  18. Zack Snyder's Justice League - 10/10

Holy crap it's 4 hours long. It's a completely different movie from the original one. Every fight scene was done differently, new characters were introduced, back stories were told, plots were expanded, a totally new antagonist, and more. It's like an epic Lord of the Rings movie now. Nobody should ever watch the old version again. This one is better in every conceivable way.
