I made a thread on GC asking about what I could use but got no response so I decided to just look around. I had a glass bowl w/ screen. It is a good sized bowl. I found a flashlight in the shape on a pen. If you got one of those Jr.Detective kits it comes with that type flashlight, Well I found one that no longer worked, but the Metal outer shell Fit perfectly as a downstem for my bowl. I used a Tennis ball Can as the main body. I used some Aluminum tape to seal off the hole. I know it is ghetto, but I tried to make it look not so terrible. I haven't tested it out yet. I will probably do a tiny tiny bowl tonight, just to make sure it functions. Then I will use it tons when my friend comes over this week and we chill. I wanted it clear because I love the look of the smoke traveling up and when it's milky. Although when my friend comes over I think for shits n giggles we'll draw on it. Last but not least pictures. Sorry for the quality. I used my camcorder, which is better for videos, not pictures, and it was poor lighting.
Thank you! My parents recently confiscated my whole stash, so I lost my pipes, (didn't have anything expensive) but I haven't been able to get anything with my budget. I was lucky to get a 20 sack of some hyrdo. And since I'm smoking with someone I've never burned with before I don't want to make it seem like I'm a crackhead or completely ghetto. So I tried to make it look nice. but hey, When you're high, doesn't matter the piece. And probably tomorrow, or tuesday I'll put up some nice Milk vids.
If there are no air holes around the stem, it should rip pretty good. I made one out of a pop bottle, before I bought a real bong, and it ripped like a dream.

Nice man, reminds me of day's past where I couldn't afford a bong haha. I....still don't have an actual glass bong, but 3 bubblers, and 2 pipes. Still got my lil homemade bong, took roughly 4 hours to make cause it's double perced, homemade ashcatcher made out of a pill bottle, and diffused downstem made from an old test tube lol. But yeah, whatever gets ya high. Kudos! +rep.

Pretty crafty. If you're into this kind of thing, try making a gravity bong out of a Sobe bottle. Great rips. You'll always be better off with glass than plastic. No downstem necessary, just an old ratchet head or something similar to attach to the bottle's cap, functioning as a bowl.
Will do! And about the Gravity bong, I do like making bongs, and pieces out of random objects, it's pretty fun to see what you can come up with, and I have made a gravity bong out of a water bottle but water always gets everywhere, but I'll try with a sobe bottle!

Man thats sucks about no door put all you need is a few nails,a curtain,and a hammer and you could use that as a door and this is going to sound weird but i make all my peices when im naked that way if someone walks in i just say im changing (it has happened)
lol that's pretty smart, and I usually just use my mattress and a few pillows to block my door if needed.
put a carb on there so u can clear it, or make the stem so it can slide out and u can clear that shitt
