Outdoor 2020

Discussion in 'Outdoor Grow Journals' started by Hybrid Civilian, Jun 14, 2020.

  1. Hey everyone just wanted to start a outdoor grow journal for the first time, would be my 6th outdoor grow now. Here's what I've got started so far. A zkittlez and a mazar both are 7 weeks. I've also got a animal crackers, wedding cake, and gelato going but just germinated them and planted em tonight. View attachment 2808392 20200614_001111.jpg

  5. Here's the lady's so far, 3 seedlings had a late start but they got plenty of time to grow before they'll start flowering mid August or so. But overall doing pretty damn good, gonna be some good sized plants for sure. 20200619_220358.jpg 20200619_220409.jpg 20200619_220639.jpg

  6. Here's a update lol, they grow so damn fast outside it's crazy. It's been 100+ degrees all week, but they seem to be doing ok with the shade cloth, some canoeing of some leaves when it's real hot but won't hurt to much.

Little ones won't get as big but they will have plenty of time to catch up. Surprised they've taken the heat so well. I grew a couple plants from seed that grew about 5 to 6 feet and they got started in July. So the little girls should blow up at some point. 20200625_214330.jpg 20200625_214347.jpg 20200625_214356.jpg

  7. 1 week later and growing like crazy still, seedlings have really exploded. That tallest plant is the zkittlez it's gonna be a big sob when it's all said and done I think. The mazar is doing well also just a smaller bushier plant. The two plants in the smallest containers are just a couple tomatoes I'm trying for fun lol. 20200702_214957.jpg 20200702_215027.jpg 20200702_215054.jpg

  9. They getting big, the zkittles is the massive sob lol. The mazar is bushy as and squat as hell lol. But yeah growing really well and the little ones are coming along l, I'm gonna transplant them soon, still got nearly two months for them to veg so not really concerned about the size. Pics do no justice tho the largest one including the 20 gallon bag is larger that me at 5 foot 8. I'd say it's above 3 and a half to 4 foot tall on its own already. 20200709_231936.jpg 20200709_231912.jpg

  10. Looks great!!!! Question though. Do we have 1 or 2 months till flowering begins? I know outdoor is running out of time so I am beginning to fim my plants.

  11. A little less than 2 months but some time left, my plants don't start flowering outdoor until about mid August. Sometimes it's early August and sometimes near the end but usually it's around the middle of the month. But yeah I'll top my plants a few times outdoor up until they start to flower.

  12. Perfect thanks! I have plenty of time to get a good personal yield :D. Also what is your opinion on how often you can top or fim? I don't want to do it too often of course.

  13. I've never done it more than 3 times in a grow, never really needed to do it more honestly they get so bushy just from that. But I'll usually top the first time after about 3 to 4 weeks of veg or around the time it grows 4 nodes. Then a couple more times before flowering hits, but I'd give it a few weeks at least in-between tops or fims. But yeah to be safe outdoor I'd top for the last time in the first week of August and let her do her thing.

  14. Depending on the size of your plants you could probably top now and again right before August and you'd be good to recover and all before flowering starts.

Last year I had a plant I topped a little late right as they started to flower and it did fine it just had a bunch of bud tops that were really short cause they didn't have a chance to stretch like they should have lol.

Wassup everyone here's the lady's about a week later. Unbelievable how much they are growing.

3 smaller ones are animal crackers, wedding cake, and gelato

The 2nd to the largest is mazar and the big bitch is zkittlez. Oh and the green house frame is 7 feet tall 14 feet wide just so you got an of idea the size. They are also in 20 gallon pots, bottoms cut out and ground tilled up underneath so roots could escape.

I topped the smallest ones a couple days ago, they are at that stage when they are just gonna start exploding with growth I've been noticing. Might get 4 to 5 feet of total growth by the time they are into flowering. Hopefully! 20200718_222211.jpg 20200718_222308.jpg 20200718_222322.jpg 20200718_222525.jpg 20200718_222434.jpg 20200718_222627.jpg

  18. Another update, still growing lol, small ones are recovering nice from the topping and now starting to really take off, hope to get another month of growth before they start to flower. Especially for the smaller girls, the larger plants I am plenty happy with. 20200725_221615.jpg 20200725_221255.jpg 20200725_221344.jpg 20200725_221417.jpg 20200725_221426.jpg 20200725_221459.jpg
