Trimming machine mark II... Added an electric motor. Wired it up without electrocuting myself and everything. Also adding a second cylinder with a 100 mesh screen, so I can just throw the trim back in and collect keif. I think I might just throw the whole thing in a chest freezer for that... Cheers!
Plants looking alright. I like them to be stretchy and tall when they go outside. I prune a couple feet of branches off the ground. Lets air flow better and looks like orchard trees. I cage them right away anyway, so no harm in making them tall. About 4 weeks until outside.
Flipped the straw mulch. Had a little grass coming up. Covering the paths with woodchips on Sunday. Big pile out front free from local arborist. Ground oak branches. Cheers!
Checking up on your grow, last year was looking good. Doing it up real proper bruddah. The teens look healthy, when are you bringing them outside?
Thanks, trying to. Tentatively, next Sunday. Will have days over 70, nights over 50, (Fahrenheit) and nearly 15 hours of daylight.
I was going to ask the same question. What is the daylight threshold? I'm a bit south of you, near the Ohio border so you may get a slightly longer day up where you are.
14.5 hrs or less and they'll flower, as far as I understand. These have been under 24hr light, and recently I learned that 24hr light can make them susceptible to flowering right away when they are put out. I have been doing it this way for years though, and only had a few act in this way. Fingers crossed, we'll see what happens this year.
Looks like I'm right around 14 1/2. I'll probably put them out full time later this week when the nights are a bit warmer. Some are going in the ground and some in pots. I'll do what I did last year and force a few of the potted ones to flower mid summer.
