I’m 71 and have been (regularly) smoking since 1972 (52 years, sheessh). I’m in Oregon now where it’s legal. I have attached an image of the bong I have been using for over 25 years (actually it’s the 3rd of three I bought over a quarter century ago). It’s about 5.5” to the top of the mouth area, 3.5” wide and 6” deep. It has the old style threaded metal pipe downspout, into which I screw a sleeve and then the wooden bowl. Vital to me (partially for neurological reasons) are the catch basins around the bowl, the horizontal mouth, and a centered carb hole (front/thumb on this one). I have looked for years online for anything similar but have failed, and I’ve also failed in finding someone who can make me some. Is there anyone in this forum who knows someone who knows someone? Not sure if I should be asking here for a "potter."
I found this one. Looks similar but maybe not the exact same one. Here's the page I found it on. To view a price you have to make an account it seems. I didn't feel like making one just to check. https://www.smoketokes.com/collections/ceramic-water-pipes/products/6-splash-ceramic-water-pipe-4
Yes, that is the closest I've seen. Thank you! Unfortunately, when I tried to sign up, it is only for sellers; they even ask for an image of your business license. I've sent them a message asking from where I can purchase. I'll post what they say. Actually, I am also looking for someone who can make some (three, probably) for me.
