Hello everybody. Here is my pieced together bong. The bong itself was $100 with downstem and bowl. Ash-catcher was $60. I really like it and it's super thick. I have no idea what brand it is. Any information you all have is appreciated. 5 arm, open ended downstem with 2 slits per arm, and 8 arm, open ended ash catcher with 2 slits per arm. Grav Labs bowl (fits about .5g filled to the brim). I love this thing. It hits truly awesome. Edit: I need name ideas as well please!
i diggin the flush female on the ash catcher. as for the beaker if its less than 5mm it isnt worth 100$ . do you have a thickness for it? EDIT: the only reason i bring that up is because it looks thin to me
Thanks for the compliments and suggestions. I am really happy with this piece for the price. The weird extension coming out of the downstem is a simple 14mm to 14mm piece of glass that I use to push the ashcatcher out far enough so that it doesn't hit the bottom of the beaker (without the extension, I have to angle the ashcatcher off to the side). The glass has to be 5mm thick. I measured it and the inside to outside of the lip is 7mm and the lip extends 2mm off the edge of the glass, so that would make the tube itself 5mm thick. This thing is VERY heavy for its size and it feels extremely solid. I'm by no means an authority on glass, however.
ok so im going to be a troll. (i think) Bong = 40$ off (un-named website) Ashcatcher = 23$ off (un-named website) Bowl = 3$ off (un-named website) downstem = 11$ off (un-named website) Shipping = 11$ Total = $88 you overpaid by $72 (or that was the headshop's profit). that's 7 grams of dank.
Edit: forgot quotations. Oh well responses are in order.. It hits great! Not much drag at all, even with crushed ice. Make hits feel like air. Ok thanks for the information about the ashcatcher. I'll look into that right now. Collab was a joke because it feels so thrown together. Haha thanks for the suggestion I'll keep it in mind! Interesting price breakdown. Any way you could hint (or PM$ what website you find these prices? I would really like more information on the bong itself. I also like buying my glass in person. Especially bowls. It's worth the extra money to me. You are also the first person to not think it was a good deal (both on the Internet and including people that have used it)
