you guys know that roor is being discontinued in the U.S. They are changing their name to dark something or other i think, and it is going to be illegal for head shops to carry them. did anyone else hear this?
Ya they are changing their name to Sheldon Black and are already hitting stores. But i didn't know that selling Roors now is illegal, probably explains the recent sale of all Roor tubes at me nearby shop haha.
Yes, the company gave up the RooR.us license and is going to start making them under the name Sheldon Black. I did not hear anything about it being illegal to sell them, I think that might be a little false. Head shops might just be trying to get rid of them and get in the new stuff since RooR.us kind of went to shit.
They're probably flying off shelves because ROOR.us is dead. Everything they made becomes instantly more collectable... kinda like when celebrity musicians die and their albums sales rise.
ya roor.us is no longer so thats actually a pretty cool find because there arent gona be many LEGIT .US roors floating around the states anymore.. there will be your .DE here and there but those are few and far between in shops..
false, sheldon black isnt the new roor.us, actually roor.us sold the rights to zob. sheldon black worked for roor.us from the begining and recently started marketing by himself.
Nah dude Sheldon Black is not a real person... just a brand by the blowers who used to do Roor.us. Now the blowers who do ZOB may take over the ROOR.us license.. but I'm not sure that's final. ROOR.de made a recent press release that made it seem like there was only going to be one united ROOR line in the states and Germany.
false, once again. sheldon black is in fact a real person. and is also in fact the only reason there was ever a roor.us to begin with. hes been in the intustry since 88 and in 95 made the relation ship with roor that created roor.us. but due to the abundance of people making fake roors they decided to end it.
i have a question about steamrollers with sliders tht might seem noobish, but ive only smoke out of non slide steamrollers. isnt the point of the steamroller to have the huge carb at the end for the huge harsh hits/ i mean, doesnt the slider just kinda make it into a bong without water?
^ Ya but i found that steamrollers with slides have way bigger, thicker hits than the ones with a carb.
I just purchased one of the Roor steamrollers and it certainly didn't look like the one in this thread. It's thin glass and has a bowl with a huge hole in it. No screen will fit in it.
