Hey all, New here....23 years old, been smoking for about 7 years now. Got a Left Coast 5mm bong with ice notches...pretty decent piece. So now my question here.....have any of you made homemade ashcatchers/percs for your bongs? I live near a headshop but the prices are absolutely outrageous (starting at $80 for an ashcatcher). So, that being said, I figured it would be best to make an ashcatcher. I made one successfully out of a vitamin water bottle first.....turned out the second chamber was too big to really be able to take a hit and have it pull right so....I don't want to fold and go to this shop so....yea. Anyway....blaze on
what up bro nice stuff im 19 been smokin 4 years, i just hit up the bukie. but na would be interested if anyone has got any DIY methis for this could come in hady for some people cant you use gause?
Well here is my latest attempt....it's pretty good...pain in the ass though I feel because it doesn't mount on the slide. I really wish I had something small that I could mount onto the normal downtube setup. What you guys think? I tried a small little and it hit huge if u pull real slow and milk it.....
dude, thats pro. Just make something like that and every time it gets dirty throw the shit out and make another. Like a disposable ashcatch
Wow I thought the suction would be bad but it's really airtight actually; surprisingly. It hits like a fuckin animal now. Just gotta pull real slow and it will accumulate smoke and then use your lung power to clear it. The left coast downtube is sick. It's got three slots on either side of the tube at the bottom so it in essence acts as a percolator if you pull real slow. Pretty dope I'd say. Can I upload a video here? EDIT-I also cut holes small holes in the bottom of that tube so now it kind of acts like a second percolator of sort. The tubing I got at Lowe's hardware chain and it was 1/2" tubing and I found a 1/2" fitting. Cost me about $4.00 total, haha. Using a hot knife to cut the holes made it real smooth so it was almost airtight without the tape.
