Nearby lights and dark cycle.

  1. So, I really want to continue growing out door this year but I want to build a green house. The location I have chosen in my backyard gets great sunlight. My only concern is the street lights and nearby highway lights. On the lux meter I couldn't get readings from any lights except one which gave me a solitary single 1 lumen lol. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but will those lights pose any threats during flowering? I don't want them to hermie. I think I'll be fine, just want to make sure.

The lights are pretty bright but they are also far away.

  2. If it'll create a shadow with your hand between the light source and the plant then odds are it's to much light.

I've been running veggers outside under lights about 20 feet away from the flowering plants with no trouble.
