Before you say it's bad for you, I made sure to use a socket instead of foil. And, I have a piece to smoke out of, I just like engineering these for fun. This is by far my most advanced make-shift bong I've ever made. And I don't think it IS all that bad for you because I didn't use foil n stuff. (p.s. the deodorant stick taped to it is just for a counter weight for the time being.) EDIT: I could also probably put some ice in the top part! Just though of that..
When I look at the first picture, I imagine harsh smoke clearing that thing. When I look at the second one, I imagine the top of the plastic melting and encasing the hole, thus rendering it useless. When I look at the 3rd picture, I can't see a carb.
i mean hell.. you took everyday materials and made them smokeoutofable.. kudos for having the know-how, but it could definitely be more efficient and look better
Careful with the pen-bowl... I did that once, felt sooo fucked up afterwards.. Next day I looked at the pen and shit was melted. Really, how bad is that for you? Will it have any long term effects?
No shit man, thats bad, horrible and you should stop now. I'm not fucking with you but kids seriously do shit like this and regret it after, and this is not something you should learn on your own... its only your health right? Go to a smoke shop, they have bowls with down stems attached as a single piece for $5-$7 really cheap and you can make a great bong using it, instead of a pen attached to a socket. Heres what you do, buy one of those glass bowls that has a downstem attached to it, they're cheap. Take a lighter and hold the flame next to the bottle, not under it, and dont let the flame touch the plastic, it takes a little more time but you'll notice that the bottle wont warp and it will make a pretty even hole, as the hole is slightly smaller then the downstem stop and force the down stem into the hole and the melted plastic around the hole will match the down stem for a pretty air tight seal. make another hole on the back for a carb and your all set. and hey na brian dmg momey.
It's never melted for me before. All I'm saying is its probably better for you than the foil alternative.
