My Homemadr hair brush bowl!

Discussion in 'DIY and Homemade' started by shankman96, Nov 29, 2012.

  1. Hey guys! I'm pretty new here, posting-wise, I've read a lot of different threads as a lurker for awhile lol. Thought I'd introduce myself by posting some pics of my homemade bowl, i made it from a hair brush and some thing for an air compressor, I don't fucking know lol. It smokes like a charm, just doesn't have a screen in it at the moment. While I'm showing you guys my bowl, maybe I should ask for some suggestions on how to scrape it? It's threaded on the inside because it screws on to something, and it's hard as fuck to scrape lol. Any thoughts on that? Feel free to post some pics of any of your homemade smoking apparatuses lol.

  2. Shit lol, supposed to be "Homemade" in the title

  3. Try using a bobby pin with the little rubber peice on the end scraped off should work like a charm with some persistence , happy scraping

  4. I've tried things similar to it, should I heat the bobby pin first?

  5. a little wire brush would clean it up good, maybe with a splash of petrol too, which would just evaporate so no fumes for you :) just dont use it straight after cleaning! might go wrong haha

  6. You could try that or you could quickly wave the lighter over your bowl not enough to burn the resin just enough to warm it up so its soft and easyy to scrape

  7. Scrape with one of those dentist thingies like a needle with a 90 degree bend 1cm before the end

  8. I wouldn't be using that type of compressor barb. I believe those are nickel plated brass (brass is fine, not so sure about the nickel).

And I wouldn't want to be smoking out of that type of plastic.

As for the threads, chuck it into a drill and you can sand them out. It'll take a while, though :p

  9. I've been using it for over a year, lol
