I recently made a wooden pipe. I turned it on a lathe and then hollowed it out. Tell me what you guys think about it. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/33/photo0185z.jpg/
Why do so many people say you should get glass and stuff like that when somebody puts up a picture of something non-glass. He could have an awesome glass collection that you don't know about. All he did was post a picture of a wooden pipe he made and ask what we thought about it, he didn't ask for somebody to make him a shopping list of glass pieces.
You know? ^^ Like when i was in a thread about gravity bongs yesterday people wouldnt quit comin in talkin shit sayin everything but glass is stupid.. fuckin ignorant people..
that's for sure one of the best homemade wooded pipes, what kind of wood is it? You gotta be careful because a good amount of wood's produced toxic vapors when charred. regardless thats nice.
Damn I'd start makin a bunch of them and sell them to your friends for like $5 or trade them some jane for it. For a homade wooden pipe thats pretty nice.
Thanks guys. It was actually kindof hard to make. I would make more and sell em but the wood pipes clog and build resin up in em hella fast. And you cant clean em. For the amount of work i put into them they sure do mess up pretty fast. But i love it. And its walnut wood. Non-toxic. I also used a non toxic finish on the outside. Im big into wood working so i knew what materials were good. I appreciate all the good feedback.
Yeah man sounds like a pretty cool hobby, would be cool if you made a couple for your friends for x-mas gifts or sumin. Good time to start lol.
damn i'm a glass fan myself( i don't wanna start any fights here) but your piece looks hella nice. Hmm I wonder if there are any cleaners for wood pieces that wouldn't deteriorate the wood?
i wish i could make my own pieces that good. that honestly looks legit, like something you could buy.
Wowow, your wooden pipe is quite a bit better than mine! But I didn't have access to a lathe, maybe it would be better if I did. I am a fan of wooden pipes, I like the added "aroma" they give the bud. As for cleaning, I usually just take a drill bit 1 or 2 steps smaller than the hole size and spin it through the hole with my fingers. Check mine out for comparison sake, if you got a second
