Here is my hollow book I am about done with. This is primarily for my pipe, grinder, bud bottle, and a lighter! I took 2 books of mine and started cutting, i used wood glue on the insides and then painted the inside black and glued down a peice of foam to the bottom. I took kitchen magnents and cut them up so the lid would stay shut. I still have to paint where the magnets are some color but pretty much done. On to the pics.
Thats pretty sweet, man! I remember making those in 8th Grade art class several years ago! Great idea!

haha well im actually in college with a buddy of mine and we have a house but We dun red vury mutch lol. i dont have to hide anything i just feel this is a nice little novelty item. Thanks for the comments guys!
What did you use to make it? I tried using a boxcutter (razor blade) to make one but the pages just kept movin and shit. Did you glue the outside of them together then cut?
On the top book i tried the 50/50 water glue mixture but i think i had too much water because it didnt really glue together. I ended up just using a steel ruler and making a rectangle and then i just put the ruler on the lines and used a box cutter pressing firmly down. I didnt try to cut all the pages at once i did about 5-10 at a time. Slow but I found it easier, cleaner and less of a mess. TIP - TAKE YOUR TIME!
