So I went to the store and got some Sobe Energy (not that the type of Sobe I got matters) and decided I was going to make a water bong out of it instead of the usual gravity bongs you see all over youtube. I went in the garage and found some dremmel tools with diamond drill bits and I decided to use those to cut the holes. Then I found a piece that would work for the bowl and connected it to part of a pen and made the hole just the right size for it to fit in. The diamond drill bit worked like a charm and the glass didn't even come close to cracking. I also frosted part of the glass around each hole for a cool looking effect. I might continue the frosting later. To attach the bowl onto the bottle in the hole, I used the strongest epoxy glue I could find at the hardware store and it's been holding perfectly. I can soak the hole thing in water and rubbing alcohol and it doesn't hurt it. I also cut a hole as a carb near the top of the bottle. It's not very big but it's big enough for now. So here is a picture:
not a bad job for your first one... i make these all the time with a glass drill bit i bought at Ace hardware. they make a nice piece, and if it breaks, so what just get a new one!. what helps is to diffuse the stem, just take a thumb tack or something and poke holes in the end of the pen. makes the hits a little smoother. Happy Tokin!
Sobe make great waterfall bongs, thats what they are really known for now. But that looks like a great bong, post a milkshot.
Heres a vid of me using it with my vape on youtube: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PSk6U0ogDY]YouTube - First Bong Hit With New Whip[/ame]
