My dog ate some of my weed leaves, help!

Discussion in 'DIY and Homemade' started by Damndoggo, Jul 21, 2021.

  1. So I was growing. Hydroponic. My dog ate some of the leaves when I wasn't home. A few them are goners. Some aren't. They haven't bloomed yet. Obviously they'll be under great stress so should I wait to water them? If so, how long? Also, the friend I was doing this with now refuses to help. They're the ones who knew how to grow. I know very, very basic things. Are there any links you can recommend to help teach me how to continue with the plants I have and to grow new ones? Like super beginners guide.

  3. @Damndoggo Just take care of them as usual and keep the dog out of the grow room! If there is even a single leaf node undamaged, the plant has a chance. There is a reason we call cannabis "weed"- it grows like one if given half a chance!

@HIGHliketheSKY Since most of the THC in "raw" cannabis is tied up as THCA (no high), the dog will be fine. It's when they get into the brownies (dried and heated cannabis + chocolate which is poisonous on its own to dogs) that a fatal cannabis overdose can happen in dogs, but even then, it is quite rare!
