If anyone is wondering about Tom's Tumbler I can say I like this company. They are a family owned & operated company that just saved me around $12,000 to accomplish the same or more per minute dry trimming. Does me 2#'s in 3 min. After preparing, which is plucking fans when u take down, then sniping dry to go into the Tumbler. Quite, no mess, nice trim pile for oil, x3 nets: 1/2", 1/4" & a pollen screen. One thing I like allot is it is designed to be broken down & neatly stored away. Fits right back in the box it came in. Assembled in under 15 min. First time. Lightweight PVC + Aluminum.
Had a velcro strap that wasn't sewen on well n fell off. Upon calling to say how much I liked the machine, I mentioned the strap. They immediately sent me a new catch chute when I had said NP, I zip-tied it. No need.
I give it a 5 out of 5 & have used the big Centurion.
$1,200 on this instead of $12,000 on a Twister or Centurion is one of the best investments I've made probably. Especially, Considering I used to drop over $1500 on trim help each run. 20210318_193935.jpg 20210318_212105.jpg 20210318_212113.jpg 20210318_213744.jpg 20210327_162920.jpg

  3. I don't process quite that much at a time, would it be just as effective with say 8-10oz at a time in your opinion? I know my trimming only takes a few hours by hand, but I still hate to do it lol.

This machine comes with a divider wheel you can insert for smaller loads. But they have a 400$ one that is a smaller loader, hand crank. My buddy just got one.

  5. The New Amare Bar-8 Huv. Just got it up & was playing with the channels. Very complete spectrum that can be tuned to probably thousands of spectrums. With 900w to work with it shouldn't be hard to climb up them from veg to bloom.
    This thing is art-work! PROPS To Victor once again at Amare Tech. 20210406_043105.jpg 20210406_052113.jpg 20210406_052124.jpg 20210406_052152.jpg 20210406_052214.jpg 20210406_052226.jpg 20210406_052254.jpg 20210406_052305.jpg 20210406_052327.jpg

Two things I wanted to touch base on to help other growers.
    1) I highly recommend hazing/frosting covers for your 96 Elites or anything clustered H.O. 20210406_215121.jpg 20210406_215132.jpg 20210407_000917.jpg
    2) Sansi led has a decent line of grow lights I've been using in veg. Full from 400-800 just about with a tiny 680 spike. I had these converted from screw in to direct lead using a higher efficiency driver. They came out as a new product with a 40% discount code "40offnew" , so I bought 18, the 30 version screw in & x4 UVA floodlights broadbanded 390. 20210407_000958.jpg 20210407_143757.jpg
In the process of having the 120 & 240 watt versions customized. 1/3 broad burple, 2/3, 95 cri white in one diode with uva bulbs.
Either of these two work for me. Screenshot_20210402-155703_OneDrive.jpg Screenshot_20210402-160400_OneDrive.jpg

  7. Just wanted to post an update on Tom's Tumbler. Don't have the time to give this post the attention it deserves rn but switched screens to get the small for me to smoke, cleaned up n packed up. Quick n easy with a nice pile of keef w/o running the pollen screen. Didn't go that far into it yet. Live this baby boooyyy!
    2#'s in 3 minutes after prep. Easy cleanup & easy storage! :jump::weed:. Must've saved about 1,500 in helpers this run n paid 1,200 for machine. 20210420_162157.jpg 20210420_162203.jpg 20210420_162215.jpg 20210420_162222.jpg 20210420_233440.jpg 20210420_233508.jpg 20210420_233526.jpg 20210420_234604.jpg 20210420_234614.jpg

  8. Ok, so i have to fix this post. Sansi is good to do buss with as for returning burnt lights (just about all thex30w screw ins & 1/2 the 60w fold outs) but I recently found out ALL these Sansi lights have .60 Power Factors & 60% of them are not but half their stated wattage. Needless to say, they added allot of extra heat to the room, were inconsistent, & have me paying out about 40% of their use to ghost electricity bill. Not cool! They understood & are giving me a full refund upon return. To bad, the plants really liked that broadband 4k.
But I cannot recommend them. Nuff said. Peace!

  9. Very interested in the Tom's tumbler. So it is a "dry" bud trimmer? We have always trimmed wet. Thanks for the update on the Sansi. Was looking to add a bit more blue in veg any suggestions?

  10. Just for supplemental? I use 5k Phillips bulbs. Or 6k strips. Also habeca cheap burple I'll put in the far corner of the ceiling spraying down over the whole veg or as much as it will cover. Cmh in the Winter month with leds.

  11. Thanks for the info. I had some old HGL burple lights. I loved them for veg kept very short internodal spacing. The didn't do very well in flower. They all gave up the ghost a couple of years ago... Was way to expensive to replace the modules. I think I have some cfl's and spot reflectors in a box somewhere. I think they came from grow brite. Don't think they are around anymore.

  14. Most of the tweaks and upgrades are so minor that if you already own one I don't see the need to upgrade

  15. Thanks, Did Vic put the UV on a separate plug? I found if you run the cal / mag at double the dose it reduces the "purpling" .

  16. The UVA is on a separate plug on the Gen:2, Hortri-Centric, Bar-8 HUV.
The Gen:2 Hortri-Centric Bar-6 HUV does not have a seperate plug for a timer but does have a controller that allows many functions + pre-programmed light recipes for optimal growth at each phase.
I can help you, just PM me bro.

  17. Bar-6 work with one Bar-8 pic.
I just wanted to point out, there Is still an idiot going around RIU talking about Amares being Alibaba specials. That is not true in the slightest. I javelin heard this BS talk before by haters. When called out on, they can never produce this so called Amare Alibaba light. Because it does not exist. All Amare lights are custom. There are no others like them in existence. Especially now that we have the "Tuned x3 Channel, Hortri-Centric lighting. All I can say, is they always have been & remain my favorite for the obvious reasons. Build quality, customer service, spectrum + Always Innovation. Beware of the lies n haters.
The new website goes up soon. In the meantime, if anyone had any questions pls contact marc@amaretechnology.com.
    Thanks! 20211026_051718.jpg 20210303_182753.jpg 20210306_140350.jpg 20211101_003717.jpg 20211010_191046.jpg 20210921_201124.jpg

  18. No, you're right, nobody NEEDS to upgrade. This new tech is woth having though if you need another light. It is everything I ever wanted in my light pretty much. "Tuned" x3 channel allows for the optimal spectrum & intensity for the phase or area. Instructions are provided for those who want to use it for a Natural sunlike environment or for plant manipulation or Photomorphegenisis.
Comes with a satisfaction garauntee too so you can't go wrong. Has a controller that does everything from replicating the day to providing all x3 seasons over the grow period. Or set advanced grow recipes. Whatever you want to do you now can. With a 1150 umol center reading at 2' you can grow anywhere from 6"-4' away & still have flowering #'s. 4' is 650 in the center.
Comes complete with par-mapping as well as par-mapping at recommended settings & hights.
